If you own it (or played it), what do you think about it ?

I just bought it last night (my first Tekken game ever) and I think its pretty solid. I still think DOA4 on 360 is a better fighter, visuals and gameply, but it seems good. Can't give a full honest review yet, but those are my first impressions.

Tekken was one my 1st Playstation games along with the original Warhawk, Mortal Kombat 3, and WWF Wrestlemania... I played alot of Tekken sequels as well... I was looking forward to this one for awhile because it's been in development forever... I like this one alot but feel it could've been alot better with as much time they spent on it but the fact it's now multiplatform explains that alittle bit... All the negetives others have described are there (Single player campaign is awful, load times are long, story makes no sense, some levels are unimpressive, online match making results in bad match-ups, ETC.) But like UFC when your finally in the game it's awesome unless you're getting blown out but even getting a blow in to disrupt a perfect is satisfying... The cast is the biggest ever (40+ characters, I Believe), charater models look like next gen, and it sees like moves were added even to the old characters while the old moves remain also... Eddy has always been my #1, it will take forever to master everyone but I probably won't, I'll move on to the next game like I usually do...

I've always thought DoA was the best fighter out there.

I can't really play Tekken... not good at it, but I loved DoA back on the original Xbox.. hopefully Tecmo decides to release an iteration on the PS3.

i agree with the character models, graphics are extremely smooth as well STILL its not perfect, i think tekken 5/T5 dark ressurrection may have been better (story wise @ least)

It might happen since whats he face is now gone from Tecmo. Doa was on the PS2 before the xbox so fingers crossed.

Does tekken 6 bring anything new to the table? I disliked the ps1 tekkens, but im looking for a this gen fighter that doesnt suck ( street fighter 4 ). Soul calibur was good, but ehh. I much rather be kratos then dark vader.
