I assuming all who are reading this is jus like me, a victim of brand loyality. I have a 360 too, but i show no bias towards no particular console. I keep my games even (so far 6 to 6) and i am glad to be able and capable to get both. But one of the games that I bought the PS3 for which is Tekken 6 is now mulitplatform leaves a particular feeling of confusion on why sony would allow such a thing to happen, a bit of disappointment because now i feel like my PS3 is less justified in its purchase, which leaves me asking myelf, sony and u y did this happen. It seems like ever since the president of sony platstation in the 1 and 2 era stepped down, n left this Idiot Ken katrugi whatever his name is have been putting the company within a hole. week after week its has been abysmal news, if it isn't dwindling sells, its a lost exclusive,nd so on and so forth. I have now figure that under these band of fools and there bad business tatics we sony faithful may not get the justification we deserve. I think Tekken 6 is the blow that hurt for me, and i know it is a big gun franchise so there is a following that feels the same way. We were promise so much by the "champion" but jus like so many champions i guess in faiths cruel way its time for the champ to fall. unless something astromnomical happens like Gears 2 coming to PS3 or something Xbox owners hold dear the future of the limping PS3 is only looking grimmer as the time goes on.
Yeh i wont even get this game, or final fantasy 13 (thats the right number isnt it?). im just pissed off because of microsoft not just staying with what they have. They always have to take the games that we have. They just wait until a good ps3 exclusive is coming up, and they are like "ooh that will sell well, lets pay a vast amount of money for it". Im not really annoyed in a fanboy way. more the kind of way like how games get banned in australia. its not that im missing out on the game, its almost as if we cant make a decision for ourselves and they are shielding our innocent eyes from it... load of BS.
but yeh sony really needs to keep some more exclusives
If you consider the global economic turmoil, it is likely that we will see less exclusives in the future. I don't have a problem with that, since more money for the devs and producers means more investments and better games. But I would be really pissed if GOW goes multi-plat.

but yea i think we should be immune now after Ridge Racer, Ace Combat, Devil May Cry, Grand Theft Auto ( timed exclusive ), Final Fantasy XIII ( actually PS3 lost SquareEnix, so many RPGs ), Virtua Fighter...
well street fighter 4 is gonna be better than it anyways so really the developers are just tryin to pull in some extra cash and considering the way the economy is right now i doubt there are gonna be many exclusives in the future except for the ones developed by their respective companies (nintendo making the best nintendo games, sony making the best ps games and microsoft making the best xbox games) the rest are all gonna be multiplatform except for a select few here and there.
was tekken 6 ever announced exclusivly for ps3?? i don't think so... i really don't think so... i might be wrong, but this smells like really old newsginraisama
Sony apparently partly owns the Tekken IP. This move means they allowed it to happen without blocking it. Heck, Sony probably will make money off 360 sales of this game, along with FF13 and the new Bluray addon drive.
what makes me feel better is that its already running on the CELL so I dont have to worry about it being dumbed down to the lowest common denominator (the 360), plus the every serious Tekken player would tell you that the PS3 D-Pad is the far superior control scheme. The only thing Im worried about is the amount of content since they wont use the full amount of space in a bluray disc because it has to be just enough for DVD9 to handle. *sigh* once again 360 is doing their part to hold this gen back.
Lol that calculus sig is hilarious. Sony has never had to do anything to get exclusives, companies just made games exclusive to PS based on its amazing sales figures. So thats what it boils down to console sales, and unfortunately they just dont have the numbers yet. Coupled with the fact that theres another system that appeals to children so well and is incredibly cheap didnt help either.
this is really disheartening. M$ has been stealing our games forever now... Assassin's Creed, Devil May Cry 4, Final Fantasy XIII and now Tekken 6! the last big ones left are MGS4 and God of War III. i'm seriously wondering why i didn't go with a 360 instead!
