Tekken 6 VS Street Fighter IV

I was thinking what if they've done a new fighting game besides MK VS DC so....

Always been a Street Fighter fan, but to be honest, Tekken died after the 3rd one, 3rd one was the best for me. So I still would go with Street Fighter.

I never liked Street Fighter. And Tekken 3/5 are my favorite fightings games.

i like both of them. I play SF4 because it's a classic. i still remember playing it on those big game machines. I love tekken 6 for its realism. no flipping in the air while jumping.

i bet you if tekken was still exclusive it would have a better chance

I haven't played either game yet on my 60GB PS3 since it's got the YLOD but at the local arcade, the most popular seems to be Street Fighter IV so I'll vote for that for now. The other day there was a line to play SFIV so yeah...... There was a total of 4 machines but yeah it was a bit out of control.

Tekken 6 was disappointing. SFIV FTW

because theres alot of games that were exclusive then anouned it was going to xbox and people lost intrest.

I was dissapointed with Tekken 6 and loved Street Fighter IV.

I been playing both since the 90s because there were my childhood im a 87s baby lol,but tekken will all ways be my fav fighting game that and doa for the dreamcast..

I like Tekken better, but only by a bit.

I've never really gotten into Street Fighter. I love Tekken's gameplay, characters, story, and it's unlockables and selection of modes are unrivaled.

i got riped hardcore with tekken, bought it manily for the stick,, never really p;layed a tekken ame before, so i tryed it out, per meh. sold the game with in the week, and the fightstick is also per meh lol

both games are really different fighting styles. Personally I never enjoyed street fighter. Tekken though I can easily play through.

Street Fighter 4 played it countless hours Tekken 6 played it for a few days got bored.

SF4 definatly.

tekken's fighting style has gone down hill in the last 2 games, although tekkens character's are alot better!

To be honest. I don't really see how you can compare these two games. Both games are for the most part totally different from each other. I can see comparing a game like Tekken to DOA or Virtua Fighter, but Street Fighter! I don't know about that one.

If you couldn't side step I can see Tekken being a 2D game.

But since I did join this thread, the least I can do is answer the TC's question. Being a stick in the muddoesn't keep things jumping.

This is a tough question to answer though, since I have alot of history with both games. I guess I will go with Tekken, because of the storyline and the new appreciation of the game thanks to a friend of mine. My friend taught me how to juggle back in the Tekken 5 days. I used what I learned in Tekken to play other fighters more effectively thanks to that one moment.

I would Say Tekken 6. Street Fighter 4 was like a remake of street Fighter 2 however I will forever love Street Fighter 2, but Tekken has become better and better. But I oen Street Fighter 4 and I have yet to get Tekken 6, but I have 5, and 3.

Tekken 6 pretty much feels like Tekken 5.5. SFIV ftw.

Tekken 6 is the overall better game to me. I'm a Tekken fan, but Street Fighter's a great game as well.
