Tekken 6 will be the ultimate Beat-um-up on PS3

There is no doubt that Tekken is an awesome game, last gen Tekken 5 proved to be te definitive beat-um-up on PS2 and won back gamers after the horrible Tekken 4. ok Tekken 4 wasn't that bad but it was by far the worst Tekken.

Tekken 6 will have the biggest roster of characters from any beat-um-up and I'm sure Namco will fine-tune the fighting to its absolute perfection, basically Tekken 6 will improve in every area including graphics and background.

The only place Tekken has still to venture is online but no fret because it has finally happened. THIS GEN TEKKEN WILL FINALLY GO ONLINE !!. Yes! now us PS3 owners will finally be able to test our skills in Tekken amongst other players.

Yeah its only been confirmed that Tekken 5 DR is online but this in a sense this obviously proves that Tekken 6 is guaranteed to be online. T5DR is more like a testing ground for online Tekken so they can implement it Tekken 6 and make it perfect.

This game does look sweet, I have Tekken 5 and really enjoyed, but I doubt I will get this on release day, I'll probably rent it first.

Are there any videos of the gameplay yet? I heard that this game was suppose to be out in Shinigawa or something.

Tekken isn't beat em' up...its 3D fighting.

your just being pessimistic, Tekken 6 will stay Playstation 3 exclusive. Tekken has a long history with the Playstation format and its not gonna end now. Even the arcade version of Tekken 6 uses the Playstation Cell chip.

if it stays here, then i'll get the PS3, but if it goes to 360, i'll get 360. tekken is he only reason why i like PS. does anyone know anything about its exclusivity?

Please we are on the PS3 board and I didn't create this topic to talk about the 360. Tekken has always been a Playstation exclusive and always will be, don't be so pessimistic. Sony and Namco have even made a partnership in the form of Cellius plus the Namco arcade games uses the Playstation Cell chip. Tekken 6 is PS3 exclusive, end of story.

back to what you think about Tekken making its move to the online arena and talk on your favourite characters :D
