Well i've been working with a bunch of guys who all play Tekken. I hear about it so much that im kinda buying into the hype and might want to give it a try. Little problem though is a dont have the greatest history of likeing fighting games.

I do not prefer Virtual Fighter and ABSOLUTLY HATED Dead or Alive for the 360 at launch when i tried it. I have however played Tekken Tag Tournament, various other tekkens, and always hit them up at arcades and aside from all the other fighters, i do enjoy tekken and do come back to it.

However with my track record with fighting games im a little catious on this one. Is it really as good as people are saying? m looking for some honest and good opinions here, hopefully as least biased as possible :)

thanks

Well Tekken for the psp is a near perfect port of the arcade game, so if you enjoyed Tekken in the arcade, then I don't see why you wouldn't on the psp.

As for me, Tekken DR was the first Tekken I have ever put effort into, and I'm always very happy with the interesting situations you can run into when playing againts others. When two competent players verse each other, the fights can be quite fluid, and strategy and skill easily beats button mashing.

I have enjoyed tekken quite a bit, and I think you will as well, if you become competent with a character and pose a real challenge to your co-workers.
