Tekken vs Mortal Kombat vs Soul Calibur

Tekken 6 Hands Down!

MK is running on empty and hasn't been great in a LONG time.

Soul Calibur is good, but Tekken is where my heart is.

I think the closest combatant to Tekken is Street Fighter and although that game will be great, I will always know Tekken as the deep, strong-rostered fighting game.

Of course, this is all my opinion, but that's how I feel about Tekken. Cant Wait!

Obviously, if the TC added "Street Fighter IV" I'm pretty sure it was gonna be 40% SF 40% Tekken and then 10% each Soul calibur and MK.

I'd go for Street Fighter IV though.

Tekken is still a strong game, and I think it's unmatched, however I am very eager to try out SF IV because it's a game that's sure to meet nostalgic expectations while revolutionizing the series at the same time

You know, experts make careful decisions when making polls or that sort of stuff.

I'm not saying the TC has to act like an expert, I'm just saying that putting "Other" and not including SF IV will result in an inaccurate poll.

I think we're not up there yet... we'll have to wait more time for the "great new" fighting game.. maybe a Tekken 7... Tekken 6 looks good and all, but it's been made for some time now, i've seen arcade footage for a year now... it ain't really new...

Think about how bad the first PSone games looked the first years of the Playstation.. and how good they looked at the end... i think in 2,3..or 4 years we'll get a great fighting game ground breaking visuals... one that breaks the format and scores a near perfect score... fighting games need something new...I love 'em.. but it aint that fresh anymore...

IMHO, MK started sucking after it went 3d... having said that, I really like a lot fighters out there and definitely both Tekken and SC rank pretty high on my list.

Actually, I'm kinda obssessed with SC4 right now, and it'll probably change when Tekken 6 comes out, SFIV etc, etc... oh! and I think I'll skip MK vs DC (lamest thing evaaaaaaaaaah!!)

Tekken is a classic fighting series and hardly fails to disappoint

Killer instinct would be nice even a remake of the first.....

I have been playing Tekken and Soul Caliber ( Soul Blade- Ps1) since both series started....so im partial to both.

The MK series has been utter crap from 3 onward, so I rule that out on principle.

I love Tekken, but it always has HUGE balance issues with its characters. Some guys are useless and others are ridiculously good.

Soul Calibur gets my vote just for being more well-balanced than Tekken, plus it relies more on strategy and timing than "OMFG 10-hit combo! you're dead" mechanics. Don't get me wrong...I still LOVE Tekken.

I think VF and SF should have been options on this poll too...but screw DoA. It's like a dumbed-down, poor man's Virtua Fighter and I'm glad you didn't mention it.
