ok i bought it and i finished it..well i finished episode 2.. portal and played TF2 and tried out the others and i havent experienced and frame rate issues what so ever.... ifu have never played half life 2.. u need this game cause you are missing the best fps ever made.. in my opinion that is.. graphycs in episode 2 are really good.. not as good as cod4 but still next gen graphycs.. as for half life2 and episode 1 the graphycs are good.. not great.. but still good... the game though is awesome.. and plus 60$ for 5 games is a good price.. cause portal is awesome, TF2 is really fun and half life 2 is half life 2..

There are frame rate issues, but they seem random. Like IGN deemed episode 2 almost unplayable, while I haven't run into any problems whereas I experienced some major slow downs in episode 1 and even HL2. So, you'll probably get mixed answers on that question because it just occurs arbitrarily

I'm on the Water Hazard chapter of Half-Life 2 and I've experienced a couple of moments of slowdown. Not enough to really affect the game, but still noticeable. You should definitely give The Orange Box a try, its one of the best gaming deals ever (especially if you've never played HL2 before) with one of the best single player FPS experiences on the PS3.
