Tell me some good news regarding JRPG's

Well when i heard about FFXIII coming to 360 i then realised that PS3 is not getting any RPG's really. The 360 is already getting Star Ocean 4 and Infinite Undiscovery just to name a couple. Now i am second guessing my purchase i might even consider getting a 360 because the main reason i bought a PS3 was for this Genre. Can someone tell me some JRPG's that are coming out or are getting ported over from the 360 because i'm in need and don't say like the obvious ones like WKC and FFXIIversus.

Also why can't i post in gamespot with Mozilla ?

Well at least eternal sonata is coming to PS3 with more features and improvements.

Also as far as I know Nippon Ichi is still developing exclusively for PS3.

The thing about FFXIII is that its being deleloped for the PS3 and then ported to the 360 as for the last remenant im not sure.....to make ur decision i'd at least wait for TGS Sony might announce something.....if u wanna look at the bright side of things PS will get Disgaea 3 and Valkyria Chronicles this year and White Knight Q2 09(i think). With the addtion of obvisous one u mentioned that is Vs XIII. I also saw somewhere that there was a Drak Cloud 3 in the works but im not sure....and SE said that there is still possiblilty that Star Ocean will come to the PS3....(serisously if they wanna sell that game in Japan they have to release a PS3 version)

And soon enough there will be Valkyria Chronicles and Disgaea 3, two exclusive Stratergy RPG's, already out in Japan and have been given good critical reception. Honestly man, PS2 was rpg king... and especially JRPG king... its pathetic how the tides have turned, but unlike many I've learnt to come to terms with it. My attitude has changed... "exclusive" for the PS3, is more often BS than not... the only thing thats holding big games from being ported over such as MGS4 is only because of technicalities, disk space and such... well the important thing is...umm...PS3 looks sexier than the 360:)?...no?...ok well other things to.. but E3 hurt, im recuperating:(

Honestly man, PS2 was rpg kind... and especially JRPG king... its pathetic how the tides have turned, but unlike many I've learnt to come to terms with it. My attitude has changed... One thing I don't understand is why Sony is going big with FPS trend.

Was Haze worth it to get exclusive on PS3? While losing FFXIII? While losing Star Ocean 4?

Star Ocean 4 is not exclusive if it was exclusive they would have mentioned it at the conference like microsoft likes to do when they have exclusive stuff.

One games goes multiplat (that comes out 2010) and suddenly Sony hasn't got any Rpg coming, sigh.

I guess Valkyria, Disgae 3 , White knight story, Last Remnant and probably a few more to be announced at TGS.

I wouldn't call any current-gen console RPG king because neither have really good rpgs out atm.

So in my eyes Ps2 still has the crown with their latest game coming Persona 4.

I'm saying at the Microsoft Press conference during the showing of Rpg and other games, they where happy to announce exclusive titles, timed-exclusive and DLC exclusive.

Star Ocean (4): last hope was not mentioned as exclusive.

yea forgot the Tale of ???? game that famitsu leaked that would be on the ps3.

If you want lots of rpgs to be shown, E3 is not the place to be looking ofr them. Rpg should know by now that TGS is where its at.

Rumors saying it's not true? Guy, if you saw MS conference then you should know it's heading to 360 as well. I mean it wasn't a stunt just to fool a ps3 gamers.

wasnt star ocean 4 originally planned for ps3. I'm not too worried about star ocean 4. I know it will reach the ps3 sometime or later. I'm just more concerned about vesperia. Infinite undiscovery im not even hyped up for. Same with killzone and GoW. Oh well, theres a first time for everything.

Ahoy matey, it seems I'm on the same boat as you. But really, I love rpgs, jrpgs especially. Games like Star Ocean:TTEOT, Kingdom Hearts, and FF were a must to me. Next thing you hear Kingom Hearts isn't gonna be exclusive...

If you look, there isn't that many JRPGs announced for PS3 yet.

Hopefully that will come soon. I hope Sony don't forget their root. They dominated the market thanks to JRPGs.

snes was terrible when it comes to JRPGs.

The most frustrating era for JRPG fans as so many of great JRPGs never made it to state side.

I'd say PS1 was best JRPG era. Plenty of classic and we barely missed any quality JRPGs. Still missed plenty, but most certainly not as much as SNES era.

The most frustrating era for JRPG fans as so many of great JRPGs never made it to state side.

I'd say PS1 was best JRPG era. Plenty of classic and we barely missed any quality JRPGs. Still missed plenty, but most certainly not as much as SNES era.

Which ones are you getting? I know im getting VC and ES,but D3 seems pretty dam hard and complicated.

vesperia and star ocean 4 will not be exclusive for long. Just wait. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that they will put it multi plat. Remember the game listing of x360/ps3 for eternal sonata. Well, vesperia is doing the same thing. Namco is trying to act like they are the s**t by keeping it hush hush. I wouldn't be too worried lol.

How could it not be true. MS announced it themselves. It's official. Not that I'm too happy about it.
