Textures in hAze

i just finished the demo and first i must say that the game seems pretty solid, and that i will be picking it up. BUT what is up with the textures? i mean going through the jungle it looks like something from a last generation. I mean seeing what games like crysis and Far Cry 2 can do (both games published under ubisoft) the graphic could be little bit better especially with the PS3 being a superior system (as far as graphics rendering goes ).

Does anyone else feel the graphic were a little below par?

yep, its from the Sony Day, thats why not so many knew it. There are other similar to this, were the blow a bridge with an RPG and it blows in pieces. And whats most impressive, is that its all gameplay footage, no pre made cutscene or anything.

oh ya...haze demo was pretty fun, i hope they improve the graphics by a bit...its already decent and runs very smoothly

hate to say it but gameplay is solid yet a little dated...i mean it may not be necessary but maybe an iron site option is alot better than the same boring scope view used for every weapon

I like the scope view .. I mean scopes are good when done right, and HAZE did it right.

Do you guys know that the demo was made in August 2007! August 2007! It is May 2008 now.

I'm not saying for sure that the graphics will be better, but hopefully they will considering how far away the demo was made, and it was a demo.

Lets hope its an all around good FPS.

hopefully your right because the shading lighting were horrendous... i mean its a friggin PS3 not a PS2...\

controls are tight but i still feel that iron sights and gun mounted scopes are next gen technology and unmounted scopes are an easy way out....

I agree, Haze is really generic. But it's ok, PS3 needs the easy sales. Making a FPS with a gimmick(nectar) seems to make big sales, these days. A crappy first doesn't mean, a crappy 2 or 3, thoe. Could be great for the long-run.

The Demo, made me cringe. So I will be renting first. Not that I don't like it or want to play it. It's just MGS4 is to close to the Haze release. So I am playing all Metal Gear games over before the big finale.
