1-800-345-7669 That's what it says on the box my PS3 came in as well as the PS3's manual. I'm in Canada as well, but I doubt the number is different than the US. Worst-case-scenario, they'll re-direct you to Canadian services or something.

thanks a lot man, i just finished the call, the lady was helpful and there isnt a Canadian service, she said that i need to pay $190 for everything and then after 2 days a man will get here and then give me a box which i will need to put my ps3 in, pay the money and then the same guy will take it there, hopefully will also be back after 4 days. $190 is alot tho :(. but i did make sure that i wont lose the ps2 BC.

thats the best route in my opinion, im from toronto too. if youre going to do that make sure you follow tutorials step by step theres hundreds just google or utube it. sony is gonna charge you 190.97 exactly and the blu ray laser lens costs 70-90. same thing happened to me but im going to repair it myself once i get the money for the laser lens.

Yeah, $190 is a punch to the gut alright. But good thing you sorted it out so that you get to keep the BC. Good luck with it, and as long as your PS3 hasn't stopped working completely, I'd recommend backing up all of your data onto a flash drive (or just the game saves at the least). Good luck.

yea if you are unsure of what youre doing dont try it, but in my situation this isnt a good time right now financially so i really have no choice but to do it myself.. sucks but i took the time to read and learn how to do it properly so hopefully it goes alright.

ohh yea TC i forgot to tell you, again from experience lol the customer service will most likely tell you theres no canadian service place or they dont know but its in whitby and its called MTC you can literally just drive there. But they charge the exact same $190.97 its just faster to go get it yourself. and it would be 1 business day i think. http://www.mtcservice.com/anew/customer/repairindex.php thats the spot and you can call them to ask them how long it would take to be sure.
