I'm probably in the minority but I didn't like Demons Souls at all. The story was non existant which I require in an RPG and the combat is god awful. In my honest opinion, I have no idea why this game is held in such high regard. To each his own I guess.
Yeah I agree the story isn't great. But It's simple and relevant to the game. I mean a dark demon force is going to take over the world unless you can prevent it. It's not very original but it works. I enjoy how hard it is, most games nowadays are too simplistic.
