the awesomeness of uncharted (no spoilers)

I juss finished uncharted and wow, seriously, being a huge TPS fan, i can say this my best game of all time, maybe even better than re4. It takes me months to beat the shortest of games, but i was so addicted to this, I beat it in 2 days, which may still be long for some of you, but is amazingly short for me. I would discuss storyline, but i want others to experience this game. The only thing i will say is, the plot twist at the level "unexpected guests" kept my heart racing, and i think the people who have played it know which twist i am talking about. the graphics were great, its fun to earn medals, and although i thought i would hate it, i fell in love with the cover system. Now i am sad gears isn't on ps3, but then again, uncharted isn't on 360 :P I can't wait if for them to make part 2 and so on, but i hope they can deliver as it will be hard to top drake's fortune.

10/10, this game should have headlined ps3, been advertised like halo 3..lol...it could have been and maybe even was a system seller. This along with resistance are managing to create new ps3 franchises which will help the system and bring some much needed star power.

I am in love with this game too. Easily the best on the consoles.

I was blown away by everything. graphics, plot, plot twists, animations, gameplay, load times, transitions... literally everything! I can't help but rant on about it. It def has a place in my heart in the BD-rom bay.

Gears was OK, but it isn't that great... I wouldn't worry about it not coming to PS3. Anyway, it's on PC. That being said, I wasn't a big fan of the Uncharted demo. Maybe the game's a lot better... and I heard it was... but I don't want to pay $60 to find out.Generic_Dude

if only they had this system where you give a video store money and they give you the game, and it woud oly be for a week or so and they would charge extra if you were late.....more to look forward to in the future I guess

Uncharted was great, but they need to rebalance the guns, because no weapon is ever better than a pistol, and I had to shoot guys way too many times for them to die most of the time.

if they had added an online mode that was akin to Gears of War's, it would have been a lot better and sold a lot more copies.

I disagree, actually, I loved the GoW campaign, but found the multiplayer to be terrible. 4 v 4 is lame and there are too many leet hax. I'm in it for the story, mostly.

Gears' online was strategic, it was about taking cover and knowing how to flank enemies. you probably like online games where you run around with 60 other idiots spinning in circles and shooting everything that moves, in which case, I understand your objection to a game that requires thinking.

My PS3 froze on it once. And then I stopped playing it for a while. I still haven't beat AC yet. Not because of the freezings on that too, but because I think I like to savor the shortness.Shomb22

I'm going to be honest, it's good, but not truly as amazing as everyone's making it out to be, it doesn't do anything new, it's awesome, but it's a lot of the same stuff.

you are chasing a pipe dream by trying to find a gears online match were everyone isn't running aroup with shotguns, also if gears is so strategic, would 2 vs 2 be TWICE as strategic, and then 1 on 1 would be double that. You aren't making sence
