Hey guys,

I need a new controller since my DUALSHOCK's battery life is starting to die fast.

I have two options and also I mainly play FPS especially Black Ops.

The first one is $70 AUD and is called Pro Elite Wireless

The second one is the Black Ops controller from Black Ops. It's $88 AUD.

Please help me out, need a controller with good grip too.

DO NOT BUY THE BLACK OPS CONTROLLER, it lags like hell. The only good controller for the PS3 is the sixaxis.

Well the Sixaxis is the original PS3 controller so either would be fine.

if you are feeling that you need more grip on your controller try the silicone glove thingy for the original ps3 controllers... if you like to mod your controllers, ok not mod but it sounds fun, try the grip it analog stick covers, which are practically silicone pads for the analog sticks and do increase the grip on them, i use and love them, another thingy that you can use (assuming that you like fps games because of the black ops controller you mentioned) is kontrolfreek, they are analog stick extensions which lengthen the analog stick, which ends up in you having to use less pressure for movements and thus making you more precise when aiming down the sights (ads :)) or sniping... grip-it covers are sold on gamestop and the kontrolfreeks are sold on kontrolfreek.com, if you are interested...

You could just replace the battery in the controller you have now or just get a new DS3. After-market controllers tend to not really work very well with PS systems. I tried a couple after-market controllers back on the PS2 and they were just not near as good as the official Sony controller.

Get the white wireless one, I've had no problems with it
