Lol I wonder chich you would choose ;). I really cant say, as I have not played many of them. R and C is too easy and linear from what I have played and I only played the demos of Motorstorm. Mirrors edge is good but needs a lot of work. The other two IDK anythign about.
I would vote MS. Anothe thing, on hard level, R&C is really, really difficult, especially ACiT.Lol I wonder chich you would choose ;). I really cant say, as I have not played many of them. I thought you said you would vote MotorStorm...?
MS is good, but it''s not THAT good. I mean you play it for 30 mins and then you're sick of it. R&C isn't like that, and it has a storyline, a really good storyline that is. I've only been a R&C fan for a few months.[QUOTE="Khadaj32"][QUOTE="tigertechie"]Ratchet and Clank.tigertechie

I've only been a R&C fan for a few months. No worries, we're all well aware of your fealty to R&C >.> I was just confused cause you said you would vote MotorStorm out of the ones on the list, and R&C was on that list as well, hence my confusion.

I would vote MS. Anothe thing, on hard level, R&C is really, really difficult, especially ACiT. For real? I found Challenge mode on ACiT to be a breeze.[QUOTE="Phoenix534"]That and Resonance of Fate, Yakuza 3, Dark Sector, The Darkness, Just Cause 2, Mini Ninjas, Folklore, Brutal Legend, and so many more.Other: Valkyria Chronicles
azzezino
Yakuza3 isn't under rated it almost out sold Final Fantasy 13.
None of them are underrated, but considering I think they all suck major apart from Motorstorm, that's what I'll pick.

O_O What? Final Fantasy XIII - 4.08 million (just on PS3) Yakuza 3 - 0.79 million Not seeing it... ahhh, I mis-read the article, Yakuza 3 is the 2nd most pre-ordered game in Japan 1st belonging to FF13.Dang, you just brought this to my attention...
FF13 Metacritic 83
Yakuza metacritic 80
An FF13 took for ever to make... ouch...

I would vote MS. Anothe thing, on hard level, R&C is really, really difficult, especially ACiT. For real? I found Challenge mode on ACiT to be a breeze. Play hardcore mode with any upgraded armour!Underrated in terms of what critic scores or just in general.
I would have to say Valkyria Chronicles, Folklore, Hot Shots Golf, Demon's Souls, Tekken, Unreal Tournament, Warhawk, White Knight Chronicles, Lair, Motorstorm.
Definitely Ratchet and Clank. That game does have a few glitches but the game is charming, it is an apropriate length for the type of game and rewards you for everything you do, there are plenty of collectables. It sucks that A crack in time (according to VGchartz is just now over the million mark. But yes lesser games like UFC can pretty much top a million in a month or 2. I am saying anything against UFC but come on, there is no way a game based on a liscensed that took a year to make is better in quality than a game that is well polished and time was put into it. A crack in time was five times better than Tools of Destruction. The game overall was harder, the tournament mode was more varied, the weapons were more unique and fun. The spaceship stuff while a bit repetitive with towing and enemy ship shooting, was a great addition. I think a lot of Sony's first party is underrated.
I think Squaresoft, Capcom, and Valve are overrated. Square has been going downhill since 2003. I really don't see how Left 4 Dead is awesome. The whole game felt like Resistance 2's coop multiplayer. It had it's differences sure, but to charge $60 for that game is a no go.
People always complain that PS3 gets the shaft when it comes to 3rd parties but yet they outsell first party games a good bit of the time. GTA 4, Call of Duty 4, World at War, and Modern Warfare 2 all sold better than any first party game on PS3. Red Dead Redemption will probably do the same.
Your reasoning deserves a medal! No sarcasam! ;)Underrated in terms of what critic scores or just in general.

That's for sure. R&C isn't underrated in the sense that it doesn't get good ratings, it's that not enough people are playing them, which is sad because it's sucha great series.Ratchet & Clank, no question

R&C is underrated in the sense that not many people are playing it much when it's really good. The one bad thing about it is that it appears to be a kid's game. . .Ratchet & Clank, no question

You do know Left for Dead came out before Resistance. Also, how does having one franchise that may not be good make them overrated. They made Half Life 1, 2, the Episodes, Counter Strike, and Team Fortress. People still play Left for Dead 1, probably more than people that play Resistance.Underrated in terms of what critic scores or just in general.

I still think that Heavenly Sword is THE most underrated game to come out this gen. Ppl bash it without ever playing it.
-Teriffic voice acting
-Near perfect fighting engine
-The best use of the sixaxis to date STILL.
-Decent story
-Memorable levels
It was just too short. If the game had even 30 more minutes of play time, it would be mentioned in the same breaths as gow and dmc.
Ratchet and Clank is definitely underated. sandyxpcnI know. And it's such a great world that it's set in. An epic fantasy world.
Definetly the Resistance seres -
Resistance 1 for its epic campaign.
Resistance 2 for its epic multiplayer.
Resistance 3 ............??????
Ratchet and Clank is a great series, but I got totally bored with it =/ (TOD, anyways). I guess I'm not a fan of it's easy platforming but I do enjoy it's charm. Fortunately, I think Mirror's Edge is easily the winning candidate given it's amazing art direction and unique gameplay.
R&C is underrated in the sense that it's just good marks, just criminally underplayed. This poll is unfair as Ratchet and Clank is not an underated game series, so aside from that, I chose The Darkness

Left 4 Dead and resistance 2 came out marginally at the same time. Yes L4D came out first but not by much. All I am saying is people payed $60 for an online game that is a portion of what makes up R2. I am not saying one copied the other because I am sure that isn't the case. I am just saying that it is baffling to me how poeple complain about 3rd parties on the system but buy those games more than first party. Half life one was revulotionary fine, but HF 2, no way, it's good, but Valve is overrated, just like Mario while still great is overrated these days.
What did team fortress do that no one else did?

I don't think Ratchet is underrated as far as scoring for the most part. Gamespots Tools of destruction review was way lower than most of the other reviewer scores and Eurogamer doesn't anything anyway, who cares. I would say Ratchet ACIT was lower in most spots than it should have been but most people gave it 8.5 or higher. After yearly releases of a franchise, that is still pretty good. I think many people are just bored of Ratchet which I can understand because there has always been a ratchet game in development on PS2, PS3, or PSP since the series started. If there wasn't a ratchet game for 5 years, I wouldn't really complain because there has been a lot of games made for the series. Your still new to the franchise somewhat but after 5 titles, it can get boring. ACIT was not boring at all, only a little with the side space missions not including the mini planets.
