The Best Playstation Platformer Series

IMO it's R&C. Now before you get critical, I'll just tell y'all that I've been a Crash and Spyro fanboy for 10 years since their first game on PS1.

I've been playing R&C for 6 months, and it's much more superior than the others. I don't mind them, but Crash and Spyro aren't as good in comparsion.

I've always hated Sly Cooper. J&D is okay, but the R&C sci-fi universe is more appealing to me than the others.

Well seeing as how Spyro and Crash kinda went to crap after their PS1 days, it's between Sly, Jak and Daxter, and R&C.
I never really got into the R&C series. I'm gonna have to say Sly.

Jak & Daxter! Then Ratchet, then... ahhh the're all so close! I have to say Jak & Daxter is my favorite but all are really great platformers (Own them all).

Jak and Daxter. R&C had a great first game but then it kept getting re-hashed.

Crash Bandicoot for me.

I loved the development in the Jak series from the first game (which was almost identical to Crash) to Jak 3 where you were in a cool new world with some cool guns.

For overall depth though and characters and very cool worlds, Ratchet and Clank likely have to take it.

I would love to see Naughty Dog remake Jak though. It would be amazing.

Just a footnote though, I loved Jak X the racing game. It had SICK depth and was amazingly fun.

I prefer Jak and Daxter myself, especially Jak II and Jak 3. It easily has the best story out of all of them, the difficulty is spot on, and it's fun to play from start to finish. However Up Your Arsenal and A Crack in Time are outstanding games that I still play to this day.

I was going to say either Crash or Spyro until i remembered they ruined them when they went to the PS2, so now it's Ratchet and Clank.

Jak and Daxter! There is also two Naughty dog titles in the contest.

I prefer Jak and Daxter myself, especially Jak II and Jak 3. It easily has the best story out of all of them, the difficulty is spot on, and it's fun to play from start to finish. However Up Your Arsenal and A Crack in Time are outstanding games that I still play to this day.

I could never collect all the mushrooms in MGS. Plus, it was really hard to jump on the metal gear's head and make the star pop out. That's why it's not my favorite platformer, anyway.

What about MGS? Has everyone just suddenly forgotten about them? They've been around long before any of those series mentioned.......
