Crisis Core doesnt rank up as one of the best PSP RPGs, its ranks up as one of the most popular.
Ill just list some RPGs I REALLY enjoyed
Well seeing as how you started with Crisis Core, you may be let down by everything else. It is one of the best the psp has to offer.
Heres a few others though. All different genres..
Kingdom Of Paradise, Jeanne D'arc, FF: Tactics, Valhalla Knights and Untold Legends.
Final Fantasy Tactics if you like SRPGs.
There is also Star Ocean: Second Evolution coming out next week.
Crisis Core isn't even a good RPG to begin with. It was just hyped up with SE in it's label. Try Jeanne D Arc it should be better tha CC.4dry4nHuh? What exactly is wrong with it? Crisis Core is a one of the best RPGs I've played in a long time and I've played a lot.
If you're a fan of SRPGs, you should try Disgaea, FF Tactics, and Jeanne D'arc.
If you don't like SRPGs, get Valkyrie Profile, Star Ocean, and Star Ocean 2 (comes out next week).
EDIT - I would also like to recommend the Sega Genesis Collection, if you like old school RPGs. It has Phantasy Star 2, 3, and 4. It also has Sword Of Vermillion.
Huh? What exactly is wrong with it? Crisis Core is a one of the best RPGs I've played in a long time and I've played a lot. Overrated RPG's aren't supposed to be about CUTSCENES. If you have played other FF's before then CC just blows.Final Fantasy Tactics if you like SRPGs.

Must be why it scored 8's and 9's across the board on nearly every big review site huh?
Different is not always bad. It's just different..
Exactly! I have the game & the battle system is the worst of all the FF I have played. I didn't even bother playing after a few hours. The cut scenes are great but who needs cutscenes what we need is addicting gameplay & customizable characters not something like Kingdom of Paradise.Crisis Core was alright. Pretty much it was a way to milk VII, instead of just remaking it. Did not like the slot system at all. I kinda like to control the way I level up. If you never had a chance to play Valkyrie Profile, pick it up. That's all.

Crisis Core is a love it or hate it kind of game, especially for FF purists; I really enjoyed it. Valkyrie Profile is a unique RPG and great story. I just played Riviera, and enjoyed it, though it's rather simplistic.
Alos worth trying:
Brave Story
Star Ocean: First Departure (Just started playing it)

Atleast you two have your heads on straight...
Anyway try Valkyrie Profile as well, just tried it today and its pretty damn good, didnt want to stop playing.
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness can take 1-6 months to complete depending on how "Far" you want to go. Also its good for portables since you can really stop at any time and keep up a discussion on the side. Not a fan of cutesy anime, but the gameplay is great.
FF: Tactics is a great port of the original ps1 title. Great story and there some good game play mechanics.
Both of those are SRPG's. Otherwise I'm in the middle of MH2 myself and thoroughly enjoying it.
