I just got Guitar Hero 3 so I am unable to get any more games until Christmas. I have: Resistance, Motorstorm, Ninja Gaiden, Oblivion, Rainbow 6 Vegas, Guitar Hero 3

I was thinking about some of these choices, so add your own picks or post feedback about the others

I dont celebrate christmas, but since UT3 is comin out 11th im defintiley buyin. After that i dont think i hav the money to get anything else though i was goin for Uncharted.

I know I'm getting a PS3 for christmas. Parent's told me they'll get me, Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm, and Warhawk. I plan on buying Uncharted, Call of Duty 4, Assassin's Creed after christmas is over. If I have any money leftover, I'll get Ratchet & Clank and Folklore.Warhawk_47

Man that game is sick. Played the PC version for a while now. Waiting for the PS3 version to come out so I can play with friends. (Yes I am getting two versions of it.)

Good, trust me you don't want to miss out on UT.

Rent Heavenly sword, I beat it in about 5 hours.... assassins creed and UT3 are must-have's for christmas (in my opinion) ....gamer_marrik

Heavenly Sword is amazing. The story is one of the best imo, the action is very cinematic and fun, and the enemies & bosses you fight aregreat. nothing is cooler than the fiunal missions when you are battling it out against thousands of troops by yourself. The game was and still is awsome. I have palyed that game for months now, not just 5 hours like soem claim. It's a classic i'll always go back to.

AC is in the same boat, you can beat it in like 12 hours, except the fighting doesn't even touch Heavenly Sword, there's no enemy variety, the AI is dumb, and the game is too easy and repetative. The climbing is cool, and the graphics are great. The story isn't as emotional or as intense as heavenly sword's.

Heavenly Sword is the melee best action game for the ps3 imo.

I'd also definitely get Heavenly Sword, Folklore, UT3, Uncharted before anything if I were you.
