The Dissidia Bundle.....

Hey there guys I was gonna get a psp go but I decided against cause of the price and the fact that theres no UMD so I might get the Dissidia bundle so I have some questions: For those that have a silver psp,does it wear and tear? like the paint chips away,its easy to scratch,etc?Is the bundle exclusive to Ebgames? cause I'm not a big fan of ebgames return policies.Is there a high failure rate for the psp? like if I buy one today will it break in a couple of months?Also is the screen easy to scratch?And finally should I either get the Rock Band bundle or the Dissidia bundle?(I plan to buy both games eventually)Thanks by the way I'm not new to PSP I had a 1000 when it launched but sold it a couple of years ago but now I'm getting one cause of Gran Turismo xD

Its not gamestop exclusive, since amazon, and all these other sites have it on preorder. The screen doesn't take much to scratch, but if you try and take care of it, you'll be fine. As long as you have constant power when you update your system, VERY RARELY do psps fail.

My question is, the advent children movie that comes with the bundle, is it complete or the original? I'm willing to bet the original sadly.

No, they just took it down because they were probably overloaded with pre-orders. Other places sell the bundle...ie Barnes and Noble etc.

Is the bundle exclusive to Ebgames? cause I'm not a big fan of ebgames return policies. You mean the same polocies alot of places have, 30 day warranty through the store, possible to buy another year? And the year from GameStop/EB Games sure is easier than most.

Is there a high failure rate for the psp? like if I buy one today will it break in a couple of months? Doubtful, unless of course you abuse it, PSPs are fragile, but they don't fail.

Also is the screen easy to scratch? Probably the easiest screen to scratch I've ever seen. have screen protectors ready RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX.

And finally should I either get the Rock Band bundle or the Dissidia bundle?(I plan to buy both games eventually) Dissidia bundle is much, much better. Also, you could probably skip RB and be well off. If you want a good rhythm game for your PSP, get DJ Max. I absolutely hated RB Unplugged.

Thanks for the response guys,I got the Dissidia bundle with 1 year extended warranty (it was 20$ so screw it) but Im having some problems with the screen,I dont know how to describe it but im gonna try my best....theres about .1-.2 milimeter surrounding the outer part of the whole screen in which theres a difference in the color or something its kinda lighter...it kinda looks like a small frame in the screen.Its very noticeable in the quit game screen or any other color that isn't white.Is it a defect or is it the supposed scan line problem? Not that I've ever seen, but I recall someone making a thread a while back with the same problem. Had pics and everything.

Sounds to me like a cosmetic defect. Maybe try taking it back for a new one? Because that has nothing to do with the nearly invisible scan lines..
