I was expecting a massive dramatic battle, instead it was super easy, and not hard at all. Also, Fang and Vannile had to die? 'Twas disappointing really. You?
still havnt beaten the final boss yet. ill do it eventually. how do you even beat him. if its not that hard i may do it tomarow........maybeevilmaster2424
Light, Fang, Hope. and I passed because I have RAV|COM| MED (IMPORTANT) MED|SENT|SYN (IMPORTANT) you need hope in your party for haste and etc. and Fang for Saboteur
i would use hope but for me hes terrible. he has about 4000hp. and fang rly isnt leveld up all that well either. ive spent most of my time wiht just light snow and vanille. would i still be able ot beat him easily with em?

That was my main team from chapter 11 til the final boss. I had to change Fang in for Snow in that fight, or his second form, but kept Light and Vanille. I then had to switch Fang back out for Snow for the third. I don't honestly remember why I needed Fang, since it's been so long. But now that I know better, so long as you have poison inflicted, you should be fine. As for the ending itself...kinda meh to me. The whole final boss section was a 'wtf' moment anyway, with all the fal'Cie smoke and mirror thing. The only thing I liked was when Fang was being...punished. That was a wee touching. The rest seemed mediocre, but I guess it was ok. Not horrendously bad, but nothing that stands out to me.

Not really the kind of FF epic ending i envisioned. And also Serah comes out of nowhere in the end and just happens to meet up with the rest of the gang?

Yeah i was also expecting some kind of memorial scene for Hope's mom, the kind in a rolling credits scene where Snow at the very least builds some Memorial or something. Anybody feels like its a rushed ending?
The whole game seems unfinished to me, at least story/plot wise. I do get what you mean about having a memorial, it would've been a nice touch. But the fact that Hope's mom seems to be the only one who died from that fall...actually kinda makes me laugh a bit. It just makes the whole event seem weird to me. A lot of people fell, yet we see Snow get up without a scratch, and then that even Team Nora is up and well. Seriously, was Hope's mom the only one who died from the fall? Heck, maybe she's actually alive somewhere.
FF13 ending was so good, in fact I even I stood up and shot off a quick salute with a tear running down my cheek..... right before starting a new game and playing it all over again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

same here, too many flaws with a game bearing the final fantasy name. between the battle system, lack of storytelling, so-so storyline and the long hallway i ran down i was thoroughly unimpressed.

oh you know, you just made a good point there. just to make us sympatise with Hope maybe?
not bashing the game or anything but i did rush on the first day of release back in Dec paid a whopping amt of cash to finally play it.
