the 'Epic' deal....

i finally get the whole EPIC deal with sony since the E3 press conference. I thought the whole deal SONY/EPIC was that epic would optimise Unreal to run better on PS3, but............

that is still true, but the deal is that EPIC optimise there 'unreal engine' to run better with the PS3, so when they sell the enigne to 3rd parties, everyone will be developing games that finally make good use of the potential power of the CELL.

all we need is for more developers to purchase the unreal 3.0 engine.

ifyou guys think about it PS3 had this deal from before E3....just look what pops up when you start up Rainbow 6 Vegas when it is showing the devs for the game.....UE3!sun_devils23

there has been a version of the UE since the PS3 launched, but it isn't fully optimized.
