What's the first game that got you started on Sonys consoles?

The first game I remember playing was Wild Arms.

That was enough for me to want a PS, and I've never looked back.

Tomb Raider

i think it was Resident Evil 2

Tomb Raider was the first game I put into my PS1. I purchased Crash Bandicoot as well the same day. Both games are still incredible IMO, although Tomb Raider definately shows it's age. Crash is still a great platformer that stands the time test.

Crash Bandicoot on PS1

Crash Bandicoot. Spyro and Rugrats were the first games I got for my Playstation...I still look back at the Rugrats game with some rose-tinted glasses.

Colony Wars. Lol I was pretty clueless at the time. I got hooked on Starfox 64 at a friends place & decided I wanted a console for myself. My research showed that although the N64 had better visuals the library was pretty meagre compared to the PS library. (Late 1996). In a rare moment I decided to go with quantity over quality. When I was at the store I asked the kid behind the counter which PS game (if any) closest resembled Starfox?? He handed me a copy of CW and said "this". LMAO not even close. I DID spend months trying to beat it though and eventually did, and became a hardcore CW fan as a result. LOL good memories. I have NEVER regretted my choice to go with the PS to this day.

Crash Bandicoot on Playstation.... i played it over at my friend's. i've since grown out of classic platformer but boy that was one hell of a game. totally blew me away.

mine im quite sure was the first Crash Bandicoot on the ps1, though it may of been spyro as well, cant remember exactly

almost sure (more than 20 years ago!!) it was Battle Arena TOSHINDEN. There was a shop where the game was displayed and sometimes the guy let you play the game, it was awesome. I bought the PS1 just for this game
