i played its fun controls are kindve weird but not frustrating some complain about camera angles i dont see it bad its very smooth and very good graphics

Uh yeah that would be Super Empire Strikes Back and there have been really good SW games since.
The demo is pretty damn fun and you feel like a total badass while playing it. But the camera was a little wonky at times.
Actually it was Shadow of The Empire I was referring to on the N64. I just picked up Renegade Squad for the psp last week. Just got a refurbished psp in the mail today. My left d-pad button was stuck down. Looking forward to trying that out tonight though. I was hoping SCEA would replace my 1001 series with a 2001, but no such luck.
i dont know if im the only onwe taht noticed this but hte game reminds me of kingdom hearts gameplay. which i thought was great. so i think this game is great.

not really kingdom hearts actions were on a menu but jumping in the air kinda did remind me of it when you think about it
true but you understood what i was talking about. the fighting combos and action is what reminded me of it.

before the demo i had zero interest in this game, it is a must buy for me now. The controls felt abit clunky at first and the camera felt abit slow but once you get used to it its quite fun, it's also quite hard trying to get a hang of the physics in this game when you throw objects, but that also just took me one play through of the demo to get a hang of it.
Ya, I'm in the same boat as many of you seem to be in. The demo really didn't impress me much. Throwing objects was literally hit or miss, and trying to pick up items while being shot at was a bit of a chore at times. The camera could also use a bit of work. It seemed a bit sluggish and felt like it got in the way a few times. The demo was also much shorter than expected. It took me well under 15 minutes to get through it all. It's kind of hard to pass judgement on such a very small portion of the game, but after seeing alot of the footage shown at E3 and other shows, this demo let me down a bit. Looks like it's going to be a rental at first for me before deciding whether or not to buy it later.
guys, i suggest u retry the demo, the controls aren't bad, u just need to get used to them. I enjoyed my second playthrough more because i wasn't frustrated with the controls.
the demo was ok. its great you have full control of the force but the controls sketchy. the slightest tilt can mess u you big time. hopefull the actual game is gd cuz i thought bad company demo was meh but i love the actualy game. so far force unleashed was meh to me also and i rly want this game. please dont let me down =D

But to tell you the truth I'm glad I listened to all of them because it made playing the demo that much more fun. I really had a blast playing it and I can't wait to play this game in it's entirety. Yes it has it's quirks and they could have found someone better for the Darth Vader voice, but overall it was really crazy in my opinion.

I will probably buy the game but it is not quite what I was hoping for. They have all the ingredients for an awesome Star Wars game but they just don't quite come together for as smooth of a combat experience as the trailers made them seem. All of the combos and force powers I was able to pull off were pretty awesome, but the combat didn't flow seemless. Partly because the aiming is not as tight as it should be. Based on the demo, I'd say the game could score in the 7.0-8.5 range. A lot will depend on how good the story is and just how much his combos/force powers upgrade during the game. Overall, still found it fun though.
Ok, so just got back from playing the demo (nice intro, right?) and I must say, the game will not score higher than an 8.0. There's something about the camera and the focus of what you're going to grab that reminds me of Ninja Gaiden. By the way, for those of you who haven't played Ninja Gaiden, that wasn't a compliment. The physics engine does feel good though, and the graphics look very nice. The Force powers are ok but it's been done before. The game Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy did something very similar to the force engine in this game. You could also lift guards, throw objects etc... So I'm not impressed.
The game is very average, but it has a very nice Star Wars atmosphere so I imagin that a Star Wars fan must be loving this. Overall: I may end up passing this game. I was thinking of getting the Wii version because the controls may be fun but that's only if the reviews come back positive. I have so many other games to buy that I don't see the point in buying this game if my theory is correct. Hope I'm wrong though.
I am a hardcore star wars fan, so just to continue the saga i will be picking this up. As with most demos it was too short to judge an entire game, I did have trouble throwing things but with time I will master it. The fighting reminnds me of god of war, especially when absorbing those orbs, the camera could have been better but again something I will get used to. This game will not score very high, but it is solid and fun to play and for star wars fans, it is a must to watch how this story will tie into the movies, I cant wait.
I really like it. The graphics are superb. I dunno if I want it on the PS3 (superior graphics, and I know the controls) or on the Wii (so I can use the Wii Remote as a lightsaber) at this point. But so far I think this will be a really good game.

I loved it. I have been waiting for this game for a while, and I am not disappointed. I can't wait for sept 16 so I can see how crazy the combos and force powers get. I had a lot of fun with the demo. Force push ftw!!
