The funniest thing i've read in a long time.....

In an interview, General Ken Kutaragi , when speaking of the PS3 says:
"We want for consumers to think to themselves 'I will work more hours to buy one'. We want people to feel that they want it, irrespective of anything else...The PS3 will instill discipline in our children and adults alike. Everyone will know discipline."

LOL, i remeber that fondly, and all i could think of was sony need to strap him up and put him in a padded room.

Thats just crazy talk, that was the problem with sony, after comments like that i thought **** you Krazy Ken i will wait for you to drop the price, but i needed the discipline so i bought it at the hefty price of £425 but ihad the discipline to know not to buy it untill they threw in 2 games a controller and 3 blu-rays, thanks Ken you taught me well.

It may be old, but it damn sure was funny.

I notice a few people do not find it funny, i forgot anything other than "PS3 FTW" is considered trolling.

Since when did gamers become so emtionally invested in a console, you would think if console x wins the "war" company x will send 1 million dollars to every fangirl that defended it regardless.

Maybe everyone started being so defensive when everyone else decided to become so OFfensive? Like when they started saying things like "the PS3 is dead" a month after it had released? Or saying "the PS3 has no games" when that's an obvious, facile untruth?

Or maybe it was when the PS3 was compared to the Dreamcast, which, if I remember right, was a great system (if loud) on which I played a bunch of great games?

Or maybe it was when xbots kept trumpeting a P2P pay-for-play online system as superior to a fledgling free system that in my experience works better and runs as a more stable platform?

I, as a proud unemployed PS3 owner, can safely say that I am a more disciplined person because of the PS3. It shows in my gaming. I am better gamer because of it! You all need to get real. This is WAR!
