The Game You NEVER finished!!!!

Whether you are a casual gamer or a hardcore one, we all have out White Whale's so to speak. What is the one game (regardless of platform) that you were unable to finish, whether it be because of difficulty, sheer awfulness, or boredom.

I'm mildly ashamed to say that I never beat Ocarina of Time, and i have yet to beat Resident Evil 5 (i bought infamous and thoroughly forgot to pick it up again...),

Killzone 2.

Sheer awfulness that perpetuated boredom.

I've recently gotten into the online, but it's only fun when you play with friends.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma. But now that the 2nd one that might change.

Turok I've tried to go through that hunk of crap 3 times now and still can't bring myself to play more than 4 hours.... and then I really never want to touch it again for months.

Have never beaten Final Fantasy 1-9. Have played parts of some of them, but just never completed them really.

As for the PS3, I stopped playing Heavenly Sword awhile ago. It was fun, but for some reason I just lost interest.

little big planet the game waas truly only fun with friends or 4 people and that is what you needed to unlock something. but i still play here and there

i loved the game play... especially since i didn't have to much :P

the visuals were great, and the hunts/quests were nice too (when they were fresh that is)

but the story wore me out to a point where i haven't taken out the game out of my ps2's tray for over half of a year...

this game is not on the ps3 and alot of people probably dont know about it but Megaman X7. hardest ******* game in my life i beat myself over it so many times couldent beat the second to last boss... my anger caused me to break the game before i attempted to beat it one last time...

Overlord, this is the 3 - 4th time i've tried to play through it, i just keep getting board around the same time

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition, got to the final boss

Viewtiful Joe, got to the final boss

Perfect Dark got to the final boss, then got a GC

Dude, Megaman X& was the hardest game in existance!!!!!! i dont even think i beat X4 now that i think about it....

Ninja Gaiden Sigma. I can barely get a long play going just because the game is not very enjoyable. I wish I never bought it. i probably need to just stick with it and I will have some kind of fun:roll:... but I won't:D... not anytime soon anyways.

GTA4, drove his cousin to the first place and I was done, then I cracked out the cheats! :D

Far Cry 2 - Boring, aggrivating, awful and tedious story

Killzone 2 - dislike the gameplay couldnt bring myself to beat the first level

RE5 - havent got round to it yet but i will complete it one day even if its 20 years on

Bladestorm - disgraceful game... developers should hang up their mice and keyboards and go do something useful like become a fisherman

Fallout 3 - good gameplay i just dont like the setting

Need for Speed Pro Street - once again another apalling game

R6V2 - poor singleplayer though I play the crap out of MP

Heavenly Sword. I had the ending ruined for me so I have no desire to finish it,

Mine is the Genji Days of the Blade for the PS3 the camera and the difficulty make it to infuriating to finish.

Little Big Planet. Was too stupid and boring for me want to finish.

I finish almost every game I play (meaning ones I own), rentals finish only if I like them

gamefly rentals that I never finished - littlebigplanet(boring quite frankly), bionic commando(repetitive), terminator: salvation(terminator: salvation), damnation(damnation)

But the only game that i own thattil this day I have not finished is...Final Fantasy8. I have finished the rest but that one gets on my nerves(even more than ninja gaiden sigma(which i'm actually playing through AGAIN in honor of the new game coming out))

Oblivion, i got a fair way through the story and got bored.

Battletoads Double Dragon Ultimate team(SNES) Hardest game ever

GTAIV - Got bored of the story missions, couldn't motivate myself to keep going.

Resistance 2 - Meh. Mediocrity at it's finest.

Killzone 2 - Same as above.

Condemned 2 - Haven't really been in the mood.

Mirror's Edge - Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Resident Evil 5 - A massive disappointment. Capcom can kiss my ass.

Final Fantasy XII I'm done a good chunk of the game, except that the story is too dull to continue any further for me. It's a shame, because the production values and gameplay are some of the best in the franchise yet.hazelnutman

Im glad some people agree with me, I found that game really boring and the story wasnt good enough for you to care about any of the characters.

As for me the only game i never finished that i really want to is Chrono Cross. I played it when it first came out on my ps1 got about 15 hours in and then my memory card broke on me. picked it up about 3 years ago and just dont have the drive to finish it started over and now im about 20 or 25 hours in. I love the game its just not something i can find the time to play anymore.
