The Last of Us, ND new IP

So what did you guys think of this new IP. Seemed like a daughter and father struggling to survive killing robbers/thugs? I have not idea what it could be about, how about you guys what's your thoughts?

ND producing a zombie game? sweeeet

If the final game looks like that then we have one of the best looking games ever. It's a really cool concept although with this month's release of I Am Alive and Afterfall Insanity, the January release of The Divide and the April release of Metro Last Light I hope it gets released on December 2012. It's way too much post-apocalyptic stuff.

Also, I just felt an earthquake here in Mexico city and oh boy it was a strong one.

ND making a survival horror type game!? YES YES YEEEEEEEEEES!

This is exactly what I wanted from ND, it's like they're spying on me! I knew from the moment I played the Uncharted series that the devs were capable of delivering an amazing premise for a survival horror game and have superb animation, story plus lighting/darkness to boot.

And judging from the trailer the foes are zombie like but not exactly zombies. Super hyped! This and Metal Gear Revengance have made me a happy chappy.

I trust that Naughty Dog will deliver an excellent (if not better) game. But yeah, I'm just not too hyped about another zombie game. I'll more than likely be getting it day 1 either way, but I was seriously hoping for Jak 4 or a game that follows a similar cartoonish feeling. Anyway, it looks pretty cool!

I thought it looked awful, way worse than UC

i can't wait for this game, love the zombie survival games, and having Ellen Page in this game, makes it even better

Trailer had me confused. I know it's a new IP, but using Nolan North makes the main guy character look and sound exactly like an older Nathan Drake.Minishdriveby

im a big naughty dog fan and i am very interested in this new game but i need more info and gameplay to make a clear judgement on it, however i must say it looks great.

I love zombie games, I love Naughty Dog, this game looks awesome. It looks like Naughty is doing to this game what Capcom took out of Resident Evil....actual survivor horror.

Looks promising but after Uncharted 3's disappointment, I'll wait for the 'why did gamespot rate this an 8.5?' fanboy reactions to die down and check out some walkthrough vids to see if it's worth my money.

I'll be pre-ordering it the moment it pops up on Amazon :D I was intrigued by the game originally - anything post-apocalyptic is right up my alley. And to find out Naughty Dog is doing it, and seeing the trailer with the great characters and witty dialogue - I'm all over that :D I'm sure Naughty Dog will take us on an awesome adventure.

i wonder if anyone will ever make a game that has scary zombies that your afraid of. i cant see naughty dog doing anything amazing with this. sorry.FriendlyFalcon

Do they have to do something amazing with the story? Is it not enough to just have an entertaining game with a competent (if not amazing) story to tie it together?

It reminds me a little bit of I Am Legend with the city. It even looks to me this could be the game that Dead Island should have been. I know I was disappointed after seeing that first trailer which lead everyone to believe we were going to get a zombie game with an emotional storyline attached, but sadly that wasn't the case. I expect if anyone can pull it off though, it's Naughty Dog.

I can't honestly wait for this game looks very promising and more than it's coming from Naughty Dog!

I'm interested, the trailer alone looks phenomenal and I consider Naughty Dogs game engine top level this generation. It's on my radar.

Yeah, it does not seem like it will ever happen. Naughty Dog just does not seem to care. Maybe we can get a dev that actually cares to work on it. Better than nothing, just as long as it's not like The Lost Frontier. lol
