Can someone care to explain what this Life clock is?rogerjak
Basically, it was a timer. The Heavenly Sword slowly kills the wielder if they weren't the destined wielder. So there was a timer to reflect this and heighten the sense of urgency. The timer, which was in the form of a bar if I remember right, would replenish for doing high number combos and other combat related things but if the bar drained completely, you die.
Personally, I had no problems with this so long as it was implemented right but many expressed concerns.
Sweet, they're gonna have a "reactive music system". I haven't played a game with that since Skies of Arcadia for the Dreamcast. And that is my favorite game. I think I'm going to check this game out. I wish there was a demo for this. :( majadamus
Yeah. Reactive music sounds pretty cool.
I think it was confirmed there will be a demo. I just can't remember the source right now. As for when it'll come, I'm not sure. Right now, I'm guessing July around E3. Simply because of the current trend. April, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Demo came out. This month the WarHawk demo/beta is coming out. Next month, Lair demo is coming out. It seems likely that they will release the demo of another highly anticipated demo in July based on this trend and Heavenly Sword is the number one candidate because it's already had several playable demos at events and it probably has the closest release date of the highly anticipated titles that don't have a demo coming already.
[QUOTE="rogerjak"]Jak 2 had reactive music, and is was pretty cool!majadamus
Ever since I played Skies of Arcadia, I wanted every game to have reactive music. I think having reactive music in video games should be standard now.
Indeed. reactive music deepens the game experiencePlease Log In to post.
