I respect your opinion, but you're only judging the game by the graphics. The Gameplay is good, and of course the options are limited, it's a demo.

I won't have a conclusion until the game is officialy launched.

Man, i just want the opinion of who played the demo. Perhaps you would change your mind if you play the multiplayer, but i don't think so. Some people will love it, some people will hate it.

Extremely addicitive. Not to mention that it is something other than yet another mindless frag/camp fest shooter to play online. No, the graphics are not that great, but they are passable, and some of the art design is actually very nice. Each class has it's own moveset, special abilites and combos which I found to be very flexible and is set up to work well in teams. The good and evil campaigns should provide hours of fun as well, given all of the classes, equipment and characters from the game you will get to use on both sides.

All that aside, I think this game will be yet another perfect example of a game that will not score very high, and will be ragged on by the usual picky, finnicky gamers of today who would rather whine and complain about every little flaw and nit pick the hell out of the graphics instead of being able to overlook the flaws, while being able to simply enjoy the game for the things it does right....provide fun that is steeped in beloved, classic source material.

No, it may not be completely identical with the movies or books with the classes that are being used, but it is a GAME for crying out loud. Use your imagination a little bit, and try and have fun, instead of only looking for things to whine about and complaining about the graphics. The game is plenty playable, the classes are balanced, the story and characters are there, and most importantly...it is just plain fun. All I can ask for, personally.

My initial reaction is this is alot of fun. And most likely I am gonna pick this one up however I do wanna say somethings that I hope the developers clearly should invest their time in. A game like Dark Kingdom Untold Legends seems to me to have way better graphics and gameplay then this game which is sad because this game will probably sell way better then that game. But Im asking myself why is this game so slow and clunky and Dark Kingdom so fast and badass Ill never know. Wanna know the real reason Im gonna get this? Because theres no other games right now like this on the market. It sucks yes I know for people like me who enjoy more then just shooters. But yeah the real reason was this... Que mist:

and it handled pretty nicely, i was pretty skeptic but not disapointed

ive always been a big lotr game fan (Rotk, Lotr: bfme, etc.) and will probably pick it up within the week of realease....as for the people who didnt like it, what the hell were you expecting? have you played an lotr game...

Battlefront was a fast paced, simple, addictive, fun 3rd person shooter. I have been playing the online demo for a few days now and I am not truly impressed and I haven't decided if I will get the game or not. However you need to understand who is making it so you understand that the game is exactly what is should be, except for the atrocious graphics.

The graphics however are because the PS3 is horrible on multi-platform games. If I didn't have a nice HDTV that loves blu-ray and 1080p m2ts over network then I would sell this thing in a sec. I was expecting to be awestruck by more than half the games i put in my system, but i've just been sick. I'm tempted to get an xbox360 for games and just use the ps3 for videos and movies.

Yes, you should get the PC version. Unfortunately my PC doesn't support games like this. I'm almost sure that the history mode is gonna be fair or bad even for the fans. But perhaps the online mode can save the game.
