~ The most realistic FPS you have EVER played? ~

What is the most realistic FPS you have ever played? Mine has to be Killzone 2 or Black, from the PS2. Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is up there too. I think Modern Warfare will own them all though.

Yes you can. It'd be more realistic if your character was able to feel fatigued. Getting tired after running long distances, becoming sluggish when tired, etc.

Killzone 2. It not only had superb graphics and visuals, but had realistic environments. The environments were artistically detailed, and had a very dark feel to it. Great game.

ARMA 2 on the PC. if it weren't for the keyboard being such a pain in the ass to work with to get the commands right. I found the game to be extremely realistic.

my rule is this. if you are soaking bullets, it is NOT real. it ought to take one or two shots to bring a man down. No more, no less.

games like Call of Duty, Killzone, may give you that insane hectic your-in-a-war feeling. but the number of bullets you take plunks you back that it is a video game.

doesn't mean it's bad, it keeps it fun. but it is not realistic.

Call of Duty 2. It wasn't 100% realistic, but it's the closest thing to it that I've played. I think it's more realistic than CoD4.

Nah, I'd agree with K1llR3175. All them choices had more elements of realism than other FPS I have played.

KillZone2 definitely felt the most realistic to me in spite of its sci-fi settings. The lighting and atmosphere in that game mixed with the hefty character movement and gunplay made for one very immersive experience for me. Nephilim83

I have never been in war. But I have fired an M-14, Ak47, 2 or 3 different shotguns and a plethora of handguns. :D Killzone 2 comes the closest in my opinion to delivery a realistically bulky feel to your weaponry, the effects of the gun themselves, and the way your weaponsimpact the environment.

Standing at a range shooting a gun under no stress is far diffeerent from shooting while tired, running, and getting shot at.

I'd say Call of Duty 4 was pretty realistic.

How is Killzone 2 even a choice? The game is far from realistic. Operation Flashpoint, Ghost Recon, Socom, Rainbow Six and America's Army.K1LLR3175

agree, I think RainbowSix is the more realistic FPS now, but Operation Flashpoint appears to be the more realistic to come.

FC2, KZ2, COD: WaW all are good choices....

Killzone2 can be the best graphics in a FPS, but it isn't the most realistic

they need to make an FPS where people die from gunshot wounds that aren't taken care of. :P
