Warner support both format for now so it should be on blu ray

Hyped for a reason because they used the internet for it's advertising and to spread the word, and if it was that hyped I think it would've made more at the box office. 300 just may have made marketing rethink how to sell a movie product of theirs if anything...

brave heart and gladiator were more story drivin. 300 was awesome action and style. 300 is up there with the matrix movies to me!

Actuallly, because of the highly stylised visual design, 300 may not benefit much from the increased resolution of HD.  Consider other movies that have used these visual techniques that are available in an HD format...Sky Captian and the World of Tommorrow leaps to mind.  This film doesn't look much better than standard DVD because of the graphic componenet.

300 is an enjoyable film, but I don't think it is going to be the "demonstration" piece for HD technology like The Matrix was for standard DVD.

Why not?  I'm just speaking the truth.  Warner Movies are better on HD-DVD quite often,  with better audio, or more extras for HD-DVD versions.  The only Warner movie on BD with uncompressed or lossless audio is The Departed. 

300 was a disgrace and a massive insult to the persians because the story is false and is advertising false history. Persians were so pissed of at its release that they went to many historians and asked them to prove the things that occured in the movie and no historian could. Now Iran has demanded an apology and has asked for the truth about the film to be released to the public so that those gnorant enough to believe it's tale will get some true history buried into there head.Liquid-Prince
