The official Anti-Sony has died thread.

It has come to my attention that apparently the Ps3 community is going into an uproar over E3. So it's time to show some loyalty and explain a few things to which is happening.

First off, Sony isn't going to "loose" because of one game. Honestly, how many people are honestly effected by FFXIII? Please only those obsessing otaku fans are. The problem is people aren't taking things into "moderation" and over hyping things. Because they are just over reacting to one game.

People are obsessed with FF for several reasons and due to that, this whole idea to which was intiially appealing to just a group of people has spread to an epic disgrace of crying "fan boys" and I use that term loosely, crying about FFXIII and why they won't make a remake of FFVII.

Number one, most people are sell outs. Thats a fact. And I have lost respect for many companies and will not buy their games any more because of it. Squre is just showing their true colors. How many MS exclusives are still out there from Square? Come on, they are just going to the people throwing the most money in their face.

And at this point, MS has to do what ever they can to make the xbox 1. profitable 2. dominate in sales so thats understandable. But I remember when Ps2 was cranking out game after game and what did Xbox have? Now we are in the next gen it's diffrent. Expect more companies to sell out and run to MS for more money. Expect Sony to crank out their own AAA and dominate.

Companies to do what ever they can to sell their games. As you look towards the Ps3 line up, their list of exclusives is dominated by one company. Sony is great at turning out their on games and markteting them. Thats how they won with the Ps2 and thats how they are going to win witht he Ps3 until devs realize they can't half a$$ the job any more.

If you have notice, most companies are on the MS bandwagon because MS is dishing out all those XP sales into this because they they aren't making money on Vista. And the problemw with gaming is because games have gone more mainstream. With the rise in popularity in consoles from 2004, more "non gamers" have join the gaming ranks and have been introduced into a new area.

You think that what sells now would sell 10 years ago? I don't know if you noticed this, but

[spoiler] Nintendo just reuses ideas they had for years. Most of their games/equipement out were failed ideas from the 80's that no gamers wanted to play because they were stupid. Now that the gaming era has gone more mainstream and now is made up of 40% gamers and 60% people who play Petz games, gaming, much like Hip hop, is dying D:. [/spoiler]

And thats the reason why Nintendo is winning. I mean seriously, the people who are gamers now aren't really gamers. They are families intrigued by a remote and sensor which is the most advance piece of technology they have ever seen since the new martha stewart endorsed Fire resistant toilet.

When I use to work at best buy, 60% of the people coming into buy games wanted a wii and bout like 2-3 games. And everyone else came in there with 1 million questions about Ps3 and Xbox and didn't understand a damn thing.

And they simply asked "which console has sold more?" and to which I reply "well the Xbox has been out longer, it has sold more than the Ps3, the wii is selling alot because it is attractive to families" They ask "You got a wii?" nope sold out "give me the next one that sold more consoles". This generation is filled with non gamers and companies are marketing on that.

All these so called "gamers" aren't real gamers.

They are shadows of a false era. I have been gaming since I could hold a controller and have played games most "gamers" never even heard of. And the sad thing is, it's these people who sit here and make up a majority of the communities now because they think they can throw in their 2 cents when the only FPS they have only played was Halo like thats where FPS was born.

These people aren't gamers, they are fakers who think they have experienced true gaming, just talk out their poop shuttes and end up making them selves look stupid when they come into contact with a real gamer.

Now people who play to much of one thing, wanting to live a life far beyond their expectations of what life should be needs to get a grip on life because

RandomGenius1 said 90% of the people who want a FFVII remake are people who seen the graphics in Advent Children and had wet dreams about Tifa and want more. The other 10% are people to young to have played FFVII and can't stand the oh so horrific graphics on the Ps1 and need an update because the game isn't good enough for them to play.

So if you think that FFVII was the greatest, which I am not disagreeing with, but how many of you even noticed FFVII that much until Advent Children came out? Please Turn down your pubesent hormones and realize that maybe you just want another FFVII movie.

Now those who are saying things like "Did we buy a losing console?" or "Oh we have lost FFXIII, what are we going to loose GOWIII next? What about KZ2? Or Heavy Rain? Or Resistance 2?" And I was thinking, wow Sony must have given up all hopes if they are going to let all the games they are developing them selves go to another console because they can't meet sales for their console.

Please your not a gamer and your not a Sony fan. Infact, your just randomly babeling because you don't know much about the gaming world. 70% fo the people here buy into hypes, over used ideas, recycled ideas, and simply don't have much more to say other than "If we loose FFXIII we have lost" when that "we" doesn't include you.

So if you want to come up with a logical rebuttal about how you are so intwined with Sony and how they work, how many people you see saying that they are going to trade in there Ps3 because now they don't have a game to play for it, should pay more attention to the fact that they probably didn't know how to turn it on in the first place.

Gaming maybe on a fast slope into the fiery pits, but Sony damn sure isn't going there any time soon. So please trade in you Ps3s, regret buying it. Because thats one less nab I have to hear crying while I'm online performing headshots for a living.

So if your in the 10% saying Sony is going downhill or your the person deciding to make another post about your short of attention span idea about E3 please by all means go ahead.

But if your in the 90% that bought your console because you know that great games take time. Great consoles aren't born over night, and that the more power your baby has the more dust she'll kick up, put your views here. Don't waste time with those lost in a generation of grey.

Hmm try reading the rest? If your not going to read it thats cool, but there aren't that many threads like this. If you read the whole thing, this is an anti Sony has died thread explaining why there are so many people posting about how Sony is loosing.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but maybe sony should be more hush hush on their great ideas... Like Home is a good example, they announced it well over a year before its release, plenty of time for microsoft to be 'inspired' by it.

Isn't that what Nintendo does?

sony did the right thing not spending money on a game that will sell the most on there console any ways. japan alone will out number sales for both us and europe like it always has. sony see this so no money from sony. i rather them spend the money on first party dev's making more new ip's ect.

FF13 sux because they will have to tone it down for the crummy LOLbox. That system is holding back our games, that's the only reason it sux. It does have way more games.abephroman

Most devs are lazy and realizing that most of the people now playing games don't have really high expectations because they essencially don't know what to expect. I can't understand the turn out rate, but it's happening waaay to quickly.
