Welcome to the Fallout New Vegas Thread where this will be the spot to sit down and talk

about one of the most wanted Western Role Playing Game of 2010 ! Before we party about this Thread,

let's go through some rules!

1) (NEW) If you have Fallout New Vegas and you are talking about ANYTHING that regards the plot, or side quest PLEASE put the post in the *spoilers* to anybody talking about it period.. Just give people a heads up and put out of the *Spoiler* side quest title or Plot title to give them a heads up so they could help you and check it out. Anything else about the game is not a problem.

2)No flaming or Trolling

3) Respect each other

4)Don't harass and trash talk about others

5) It is a Fallout New Vegas thread, but a little side convo is allowed ;)

6) Oblivion, Fallout 3, (and Fallout NV of course when it is released) help and talk is allowed.

Plot:

The game takes place three years after the events in Fallout 3(NOTE: it's not a DLC to Fallout 3.. It's a complete new game)

and you play as a courier that has been shot in the head and left for dead in a cemetery outside of New Vegas as you were

carrying some package somewhere and then end of getting it stolen. So almost the whole slice of this plot is all about finding out

what you had, what they took, and why.

Have this baby pre-ordered and can't wait for it! I'm also getting some tribal weapons and armour for the pre-order :D. I'm definatley doing survival mode through my first playthrough.

By watching all the videos and screenshots of this game, it looks like it will have a ton more weapons than Fallout 3. I want to find a list of all the items but I also don't because I'd like to experience a "I can use this?!" moment while playing for the first time haha.

Those boxing gloves look like fun.

I totally neglected hype for this game. I loved Fallout 3, but I found Fallout 1 and 2 to be better games after trying them out. Let's hope Obsidian can re-inject some of old Falloutness into this :D

Walmart looks to have the coolest set of cool things though. :P

You get:

• Lightweight Leather Armor (does the same amount of protection, it's just lighter)
• Sturdy Caravan Shotgun
• Binoculars
• 4 Repair kits

Different outfits and some other weapons. Thats why people go for hte "collectors" editions when they're looking for soundtracks and books. I'm not a collector so I'm happy with:

Aren't all the preorder bonuses just different outfits? I would have rather they gave us an artbook or a soundtrack or something.johny300

Lol, enjoy missing out on what will no doubt be an awesome game. I guess I should hold my thoughts until it's out but as much as I enjoyed Fallout 3, having the original creators hands on this game will surely make it even better!

Im excited and im hoping Obsidian will do a better job with NV then Bethesda did with Fallout 3.

Sure Fallout 3 was amazing (imo) but looking back I felt they could have done a much better job.

I'm not really psyched about this game either if it's just more of the same, but I'm getting it because there's little else coming out this year. :roll:
