before i start I AM NOT DISSING THE PSP!!!! PSP IS THE SHCIZZLYMINIZZLY!!!!

i love rpg games. there my favourite types of games (with fps very closely behind...) im looking for a long game (maybe we can even make a list) with an awesome plot. money is not an issue for me. i am willing to spend whatever it takes to play a game that has a good plot (plenty of twists. any type of game is fine as long as its not metal gear solidor acid cause i have those :P). i dont mind a good list of ps1 games cause my local store still has/orders ps1 games!

Check out Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, it can be very long if you play it on hard mode and it has plenty of twists and turns.

I'm enjoying Puzzle Quest.  The story is cliche for an RPG but done very well and the puzzle elements make each fight interesting.  All the RPG elemtents are very well implemented also.

Agreed, i just got my PSP today, the last handheld i owned was the game boy color and i remember playing pokemon and other RPGs all the time on that thing. It's sad the PSP doesn't really have a lot of RPGs :(

i think people are forgetting that PSP is a portable system...truly it's not meant to play RPGs. The reason why Pokemon works is because you can have a few fights, save and turn off (plus Nintendo's handheld always had more battery life). The RPG's on PSP so far haven't lived up to that "pick up-play on the go-turn off." So far Crisis Core is looking up to its expectation with the whole Action/RPG type of game-play.

The funny thing for me was that Monster Hunter ALMOST got everything right. It is extremely long (playing alone just sucks though) BUT if you know some people who have a PSP, this game is awesome for quite a while to play ad-hoc. I really want to play Crisis Core but then again that's like waiting for it to Rain in Money, it's gonna take forever to come out. PSP has a ton of potential but I don't know about RPG's. Hopefully Valhalla nights is good when it comes out April 18th in North America!

I think CrisisCore is really only going to interest fans of ff7...The only reason I played dirge of cerberus is because I wanted to re-visit areas from ff7..:|

XD, WRONG, the point of an RPG is a long game that you can always play, RPGs are best on portalbes bevcause you can carry them around with you ANYWHERE

Wait for Monster Hunter 2, it sold 500,00 copies on its first day, and 750,000 copies by the end of the week. Wait till it comes to the US later this year
