I have 3 games with online content available which are Killzone, MOH Heroes and NFS:Own the city. And in each one whenever i go online i feel it's unreasonable unfair. In MOHH in any game there are bazooka wielding n00bs or worse.. hackers who are untouchable half the time. In NFS everyone goes for the fastest car and if you don't you sign yourself up for immediate burning. Killzone has been managed slighty better but i feel the skill difference means that those who are not as good should have their own wee pen to play in untill they improve.

EA manages their online content incredibly badly and there should be more restrictions in place to stop abuse of online mode. I am more content with Killzone's management because most glitches are creased out with the BETA testing that happened, i hear that games like SOCOM and MGS: PO are near impossible in online mode which makes me wonder why the companies don't do more, afterall almost all of us are parting with our money to get their games.
Who's with me?

The main issue here is that console machines use hard coded game images, meaning they cannot be updated or changed. To address hacking (to a certain degree) on A PC game for example, they can release a patch that will modify the files on your hard drive. And even then, hackers will usually break the code in no time at all and cheat.

Bceause the PSP stores games on read-only UMD discs, they cannot be patched Same thing happens with the PS2 - online games are flooded with hackers who ruin the game for the rest of us. Not sure about how the PS3 / XBOX 360 will address this, but from what I know of the PSP and PS2, it's not possible.

It would be nice to see a fix to adress this, but even then, people will usually find a way around it...
