Is it any good on PS3?
Unknown_Hero3
Perfectly fine. Just better on 360, and PC
Thank you, now that make me happy as no one seems to be giving the PS3 version any respect, now there is some, lol.[QUOTE="metalicelvis"]
I (fail) liked (fail) it (fail) very (fail) much (fail)
:)
OK That post was a Failure of epic proportions.
HA! you used a form of the word "fail" meaning you fail at not using fail - oh the failage.A very wise man once wrote...
5 for $15 is bad if: you're at Arbys, you're buying rolls of toilet paper or gallons of gas, or it's the rate on a phone card.
5 for $15 is good if: you're at a strip club, it's the pitcher cost during happy hour, or it's a solid collection of video games.
Currently playing Portal, Half Life 2 & Team Fortress 2.
Portal is brilliant in it's uniqueness. Minor load times, no frame issues. Playing to long makes my brain hurt.
Half Life 2 is a fun, story driven, fps. Presently stuck in the 2nd section of Sandtraps (can't seem to find enough surface to air rockets to take down 2nd gunship). Medium load times (less than 2 1/2 min. from initiation of game on PS3 menu to saved game loaded & playing). Haven't noticed any frame issues.
Team Fortress 2 is fun & there are always plenty of people playing. Lack of new updates kinda sucks, but that doesn't make it less fun- just not more fun.
And I prefer to read non-professional reviews too.In the future tryDestructoid.com, there reviews arefairly non-professional.

Slight framerate drops after loading in new areas, and a lack of cool 360 achievement (trophies in this case), although its the same game, same graphicsand most issues regarding frame rate have been patched.

Because Valve hates us lol.I bought The Orange Box on Friday.
Portal is a lot of fun. I've found it straightforward in most sections. However, there have been a couple test chambers so far, which have kept me on my toes. Lateral thinking has never been so addictive though. The computer's dry humour is great as well. :)
Half Life 2 is more my bag. I'm currently two thirds of the way through chapter three. Gun battles are satisfying. It's eerie walking through a decrepit city. The settings are nicely textured. Bland and understated at the start, but grimier and more cluttered as the game progresses. The sound effects are realistic, adding to the isolated atmosphere.
It's mature sci-fi, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
I haven't tried Team Fortress 2 yet, but it looks like a complete riot from the video clips I've seen.
