to bear: shutup man the price ut is real. Everyone is doing them. And heres another thing, soiny cant do a thing about it even if it want real. The store can sell them at whatever price they like. Once they purchase the consoles from sony, they can do as they will with them.

its not are fault that the ps3 launched here with a $699 price tag... plus our dollar is gonna break even with the american dollar in the summer so we should be paying the same as you guys, i think its at 94 cents right now?? so whats up with the extra $200 we have to pay?

How is it illegal? They purchased it from sony at thier price. They are selling it at the price they want. sony isnt the one losing any money its the retailer . Since the price will be lower sony will have to start selling the console to the retailers at a lower price. Maybe the ones out there already but i dont the new ones coming in will be bought at the same price.

this is not good in the big picture, these stores are trying to get rid of a product that hasnt sold, which means the stroe wont buy that many from sony when they sell those at 499. They are basically saying we want to get rid of this product bc it sits on our shelves foro too long. winner-ps3

Here in Michigan there is a store similar to Wall Martbut called Miejer. I saw a tag that said you can now get Rainbow 6 Vegas for the low price of 59.99, wait, isnt that the original price of the game. And it's sold at that price everywhere. That was probably not the 60gb PS3, or target was just having a sale, once it's like that at all store, then the price cut is confirmed.brownwhale

Rember the ps2 luanch then there was the quiter ps2 wich u were forced to buy if u wanted any new games and then there was the slim ps2. Any one think there will be a remolded or slimmer ps3 ? If they do annouce a newer modle ill run out and get it but for now im happy with my pc :)
