the ps3 activation is BS

i recently got my ps3 back from sony (after my friend tripped over it :evil: ). im doing the recovery process, u know downloading all my games back, updating all my games, and trying to gain all my game content back again (for the 3rd time). and now i go and buy a movie on the playstation store for everyone to watch, paid for it and ready to download. but then it tells me i cant download it because my brokenass ps3 got activated, why does it need it? does sony get pirated enough for them to do this? and now they ruined my familly weekend, thanks alot sony.........ya jerk.

You mean it said your account was activated on 5 consoles already?

Because if that's it, and you've been giving out your log in information, this is your fault, not Sony's.

no no no, u misunderstand not game content, VIDEO, i only had 3 ps3's and who/why would i give it out? u think im that dumb? this is the second movie i bought and i wasnt aware that my ps3 got activated at all, just mad that, u know, i cant watch a movie that i freakin paid for with money!!!

Don't you mean, deactivated?

All you need to do is go into your Account Management and you can activate the system again.... :| I don't see what the whole fuss is about here.

Sony "ruined" your family weekend because you couldn't watch a movie? That sounds pretty harsh.

Never understood why Sony doesn't wipe the activation off of broken PS3s that are sent in. All you need to do is send them an email or call them and they fix it usually within 48 hours
