He walks right into my usb headset cord which trips him and which also causes my PS3 to fall 2 ft off the table it was standing on to hit the ground. I figured I had a 600 dollar paper weight on my hands. Turned the thing back on, checked everything out and its all good.
Well lucky for you that it's still working fine. Any marks/scratches on them ? This is one of the reason why I dont put any of my gaming consoles in the living room.

Im glad everything is ok, and yup I agree this bad boy is built really well. My friend actually dropped his when he was walking up a set of stairs and fell about 1-2 feet and other then a little dent in the side still works well.
I dropped my Playstation 2 atleast 5 times and it still works perfectly. I cant say that for my 360 tho... i didnt even drop it once and it got the Three Red Lights and now im still waiting till Microsoft gives it back to me. They problay already fixed it but there just playing with it. Fu**ing Bill Gates!!!!!!
haha nice man ps3's are trucks when i first lifted up the box it game in i was like holy $htt but the weight is worth it because i know that it will withstand a drop or two;)

LMAO so true I hope to pick up a Ps3 when the price drop or after my 360 breaks(envitablely) and the warrently expires. Im already on my 3rd 360 in less then 6 months so let's see how long this one last : ( *sigh*

Dude do you still have the rubber things on youre ps3? because my ps3 won't move an inch no matter how hard I pull on the cable...
I mean when I have a usb cable connected to it instead of pulling it out near the ps3 (that would require me to stand up) I just take the end and tug a few times untill it flies out but the ps3 does not move an inch.
yeah there was a youtube video about them taking it apart, and there was a good 1/2 inch of metal between the outside and anything that mattered.teldath

See thats what WE pay our hard earned money for, a good quality product. I personally havent dropped my ps3, but have dropped the Sixaxis controller, ps1, and slim ps2. They all work fine, Sony is known for good gaming produts.
If that was a 360, it would have at least scratched the discaaron6581230
if it was a 360, u would see the red rings of death and on the tv hundreds of red rings of deaths will pop up and u will see an xbox 360 symbol in the middle going "hahaha!!!"
