The PS3 is Charted..so what's next?

I've finished Uncharted once, can always play it again. Have finished Ratchet and Clank twice. I have Fifa 08, have gotten over NFS ProStreet for now, and Lego Star Wars is fun but i've finished it on PC so i kinda know what to expect.

so what should i get next? im gonna grab Virtua Fighter 5, coz i really want a fighting game. i havnt enjoyed a fighting game since Soul Calibur 2 on gamecube, which i still play on my Wii. are there any other really cool action/adventure games for PS3?

im not interested in First Person Shooters, as i have a PC for those.

any advice is appreciated though.

Other than what has already been said, I would say try Heavenly Sword.

An even though you said you didn't want FPS games, I would still strongly recommend Resistance. You won't be seeing that game on your PC, and with the sequel coming out in the fall, you've got from now until then to pick it up. I'm sure you've heard about how awesome Resistance 2 is going to be, but in case you didn't,here you go. I've been playing this game for over a year, and I'm still enjoying it today, online and off, mulitplayer and campaign ... and that very rarely happens with me.

cool, thanks for the tips. i meant games that were already out though, Devil May Cry 4 isnt out yet is it? and is DMC4 one of those games where you need to play the other 3? im a bit of an in-game story buff, i love to know whats going on, not just watch the pretty colours.

i was looking at Ninja Gaiden Sigma, so you say thats worth a look?

and i may give resistance a go. i suck at playing FPS with a controller though, i've been a solid PC gamer,90% FPSfor just over a decade. but i have heard good things about it. thanks for the link too.

yeah i'll definitely get DMC4 then. my mate has been playing them since they came out, and he rekons they are awesome.

and i just bought Resistance, after reading about it, seems really awesome. NGS im trying to get a good price.

thanks for that. but if you read first post, i already have that game, have finished it twice, and loved every single minute of it. cant wait for another R&C game.

nah its cool, its ok if they reccommend the same games as each other, must mean the game has some value. i'll add you to my PSN thing. BUT, are you aussie or from the US/outside Australia? coz at the moment i have a pretty slow internet connection, and im in Perth, WA. connecting to overseas servers is pretty poor for me. but im working on it.

Turok i will be getting for PC. i have a very high end PC, so where possible, i get all FPS games for that, coz i can play them at max graphics, and use a keyboard and mouse :)

Cool, cool ... I mean they suggested to you a game which you already bought ... it would mean something if you hadn't purchased it yet, but since you already did, they're recommendations won't change much ... not a big deal, I'm just pointing that out.

Anyway, I live in NJ, so add away! :) I'm in school so you probably won't catch me on unless it's a weekend. Sadly, I won't have any time during this weekend because I have a huge project due, and a bunch of tests next week - the semester is almost over, and teachers always give out tests/projects around now :( ... so maybe the weekend after.

By the way, I'm already tracking you on GS so track me back and we can be friends.

for action/adventure that's out right now my top three would be Assassin's Creed, Heavenly Sword, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma

I say you dont get sigma, since I really didnt enjoy it that much AND you are about to get DMC4, which is almot the same type of gameplay. I say if you liked the old tony hawk games, play the skate demo, then buy the game. It is awesome.Tlahui

sorry, should of mentioned, i already have Skate. thats my bad. that game is so awesome. i cant stand Tony Hawk games, they suck. but Skate is amazing.

yeah im gonna hold off on this Ninja Gaiden one, now that i have bought Resistance. hasnt arrived yet. and i'll definitely get Devil May Cry 4. plus i still have to 100% complete Uncharted. i ended my first time round with 41 treasures, so quite a few left behind somewhere..

Ninja Gaiden is good, but DMC will probably be better. If you want Action/Adventure, you should try those two (somebody menction Heavenly Sword, not so sure. I liked the game, but didn't love it).

Also, is good to know you decided to give Resistance a chance. Believe me, its a great game. The first console's FPS that I really enjoyed...
