PS3 breaks 1m sales barrier in PAL territories!!!!

"That was faster than both PS2 and PSOne. And I think that the analysts out there will also realise that

it's faster than our brothers and sisters in the competitive world."

It's been on pace to outsell most of the other consoles when compared to the same lifespan since launch.  It just got overshadowed by the Wiis numbers.

That's why I can't stand when people would say "is it going to fail?".  No, it's not. It is selling extremely well for its price point and TYPICAL summer drought of games after launch.

::end rant.

I think that people don't know that even the PS2 when it came out it got bad critics and slow in sales, now the Ps3 is doing better than ps2 and people think it is not selling well and it costs more:roll:

Exactly. Also, it's doing better in Japan than the Xbox 360 is doing.

that's expected....although microsoft is taking some steps to try to change that. (anime in the xbox live marketplace).  But as far as consoles go, Sony will most likely always have the Japanese support.  DS's are sellin like hotcakes over there though. lol

My point was, the PS3 is selling well in both Europe and Japan. That equals success. Who cares about DS or Wii, they're not next gen.

Now fanboys are going wild saying "it's impossible, must be shipped, OMG, the PS3 fails!"  -_-

It shipped close to 1 000 000 at launch and sold 165 000 in 3 days IN UK ONLY. Add the rest of Europe and Australia, 1 000 000 in over 2 months is far from the "t3h imposzible!!"

And the PS3 is selling as well as the PS2 in US as well. People just  have a short memory and cannot remember that the PS2 was sold for 450$ at launch and had "no games".
