I was checking on youtbe for pc motherboards and I came across with this model the intel skulltrail it has the posibility to put in 2 processors, I once disassembled the 60gig version when it didnt functioned no more and saw that it also had 2 processor, so thats why it has 8 cores, that possibly means 2 processors of 4 cores, I thought it was 1 cpu with 8. So Sony saw into the future or what ? I dont know if the 360 has the same concept but its pretty impressive what a PC with 8 cores can do.

Sony didn't see crap. IBM trashed the cell. If anything let the Ps4 have something better then an i7.

A PC with 8 cores does nothing in games. It helps out with many other aspects the PC offers. Such as designing. I think the CELL is back in the PS4, but it is a revised CELL, apparently capable of 1Terraflop, to the just over 200 in the CELL for PS3. But there are rumors of the PS3 CELL staying in the PS4. I think IBM is going to have their new CELL ready for 2011, probably Q3. IIRC, the CELL was to run the graphics for the PS3, but it failed and so they grabbed nVidia to produce a GPU for them.
