half life 2 is one of the best designed games ever made portal is one of the most intresting titles of this decade, funny, smart and interesting. and team fortress is one of the best online games (if not the best) ever made. even if this game was a "slide show" it would still be better then all the ps3 games released so far. its damn sure the best thing you can get for the xbox, and with the exception of "theme park" the best thing for the pc.
stuff buying a game where they took zero advantage of the ps3 hardware, they only use the 1 core and none of the other processors, this is not a ps3 game just a **** port.
I was gonna pick it up, but after hearing how EA is porting it, Valve bashing the PS3, and how UT3 is coming this month I've decided to get UT3. Sorry but Epic deserves my money more than crappy EA and their ports and lazy A#$ Valve.
its too bad its not a good enough port that will make me buy it. Its sad because I really wanted this game because I never got to play Half Life 2and hearing about thing about how it has major framerate issues made me pass.
And to the people saying it doesn't deserve to be bought because it's not as good as it could be: I bet you bought some bad games in the past that are inferior to the Orange Box on PS3 in both quality and fun.

I really want to see portal as well. My pc isn't good enough to play it though. I think I will end up renting it first. If it is not too bad I may buy it. So either way i'll get to try portal.
My concern is that no one has played Team Fortress on the PS3. That's the game I'm looking forward to the most in the OB. If it doesn't play well, I'll have to get it for the PC but I want if for the PS3 so I can play a few buddies.
Should still be an amazing package but Gabe (valve) and Ea are close to the top of the sh*tlist for ps3 fans, slightly below ms. I preordered and am still getting orange box bc its a great collection and I never played Halflife2 and want a good sp fps. I'm still getting UT3 the same day and will play ut3 more but epic is gonna roll all over valve in sales on ps3. Epic and Mark Rein right now are the antithesis of Gabe and EA. I wanna shove a flak cannon down gabe's throat for being such an arrogant turd by not truly taking advantage of the ps3. i'll still be up for some tf2 but i still haven't figured out my class yet
Someone may be getting it for me on Christmas...so... :) But, I would probably go with UT3 otherwise, Cause EA cannot make games if their lives depended on it. I'm tired of these LAzy-A$$ developers, wanted to work only on 7 year old technology
Let's just say I have an amazing PC to get this game on (Quad 6600, 8800GT, 2GB of Ram...etc), and I was interested in this game, but when I heard that dummy Gabe talk non-sense about the PS3, I said no way I am getting that game. Development should be done the right way and EA is doing a crappy a$$ port, soI am going to get UT3 on the PS3 because Epic does deserve my money more than thata-hole Gabe and EA. the only games I will be getting from EA are FIFA and Burnout.
mm.. i have orange box for pc.. i think it was more really meant for pc.. even my 360 friends who got it.. says tf2 is funner on pc cause theres more people.. i think there would be more people on PC than ps3.. when it comes out too.. either way i guess the single player games is pretty good to be occupied with. still i say get it for pc instead, unless ur pc is poopie lol then get it for ps3.. sucks how EA gimped the ps3 version..
