How can these get you from 50m away? Seriously. I swear I got "sniped" by one yesterday on Quarry. Plus the dual-wield means that they're getting close to 150 degrees spray in fron of them it's like a wall of damage! :shock:

Thoughts?

They need to fix it by putting the model 1887's in the sniper menus or just really underpowering them, I mean they should take 2 shots to kill someone from far away and one shot up close not 1 shot from far away and 1 shot from very far away.

Agreed. Along with that, remove greanade launchers, painkiller, the RPD and chopper gunners and harriers from care packages. then the game will be playable.

I agree with you guys as well, but I just traded it in and picked up killzone instead, ah well, I wont have to deal with that! lol

I think your all over exagerrating especially the guy who traded it in. The shottys don't have a distance of 50 meters in MW2 its more like 5. But i have to say that should make it to shots from far and 1 from close!!!!

I can live with the 1887s as broken as they are.. the thing that really ruins MW2 for me is the heartbeat sensor.. they need way less range on that thing and no beeping...

now youre just whining.... grenade launchers arent even a big deal, pain killer lasts for 10 seconds, and just because people are good with the RPD doesnt mean its cheap, and care packages are meh, deal with it.....

The reload for the akimbo 1887's is unrealistic. You shouldn't be able to dual wield them. You spin them on the inside, between your arms and body, even though the guns are way too long to do so. They would just hit your shoulders.

There's a clean 0% chance of winning a face-off with an akimbo 1887 guy. They are one of the many reasons why MW2 fails at life.

They were nerfed but IW does a piss poor job when it comes to fixing things. Theres literally a way to un-nerf the 1887's not gonna mention how but tons of people already know. 5 meters (15feet) All shottys can shoot farther then this about 30 feet give or take. (Striker/SPAS over, AA12/M1014 under) The 1887 can out range all shottys and stil OHK... shenigans! If they weren't akimboed they wouldn't be a problem...

I didnt trade it in because of the shotties, I traded it in because I am bored of it. KZ2 is a better game overall. That's why I traded it in.

Wah wah, you want something to complain about? play the pc version, there are too much hackers out there with aimbots and chopper gunners/ac-130s. as if the pc version wasn't already bad enough

I agree.

Changes I recommend: Care pachages only for ammo Nuke 30 killstreak Model 1887 its own category as the weapon of hell More bulet damage. (One time, I was shooting a guy -five or six bullets- and at last he kills me with knife/commando)

They did patch them, but they got lazy and didn't patch the bling version, which if used will give you even greater range then the originals. I like to use this exploit, and will continue to do so until this version gets patched as well.

Noob tubes are a big deal on hardcore search and destroy. It's stupid.

Dual shotguns are the worst thing ever created. It'd be different if they had no range, but people are jumping and picking me off from across the map almost. It's ridiculous.

akimbo 1887's don't bother me, if you are getting owned from half way across the map by them then you just suck. Gaynaders are what annoy me. When a game turns into a noobtube fest, I sometimes find myself developing a weird habit. If I turn a corner and see someone looking at me or something, I'll run back around, and boom! there's one grenade....wait for it, wait for it.... Boom! there goes their second, then proceed around the corner and kill them.

He only defends it because he uses it. grenade launchers are UNBALANCED, Spamming them into headquaters with danger close gives the other team zero chance. Also, getting a 11 killstreak chopper gunner from a care package defeats the purpose of it being an 11 killstreak.
