the rumor about Insomniac readying Resistance sequel

Verdict: As with Ms. Dark's return, it's just common sense to think that Sony's big PS3 launch title will be making a return. A two year turn-around from game one to two is feasible and Insomniac does seem to be going down the game a year route. Last year we got Resistance, this year we're getting Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, and next year we'll get Resistance 2.

It's ok if insomniac takes the route of 1 game 1 year. They are quite numerous and very talented. BTW good to hear the R2 is coming out :Drogerjak

IMO Insomniac is Sony's Bioware.... well except for the part about EA buying them. I haven't played an Insomniac game I didn't like. That studio is like a gold factory.

If Resistance2 comes out in 2008 then I'm going to be all over it likecrime on O.J.

Maybe the story will end at the 2nd one :) I think a better name would be maybe rise of the chimera or something, maybe the chimera raise up again? or maybe their gonna keep it uncreative and just make it Resistance fall of man 2 and take away the colon from after Resistance :) Either way, i am SO looking forward to this game, I absolutley loved the first one but thought it was a tad short :( Lol, also they need to add wayyyy more guns, like add all the guns they had in 1p campaign mode also to co-op campaign mode + 5 more. Other than these small issues, i thought this game was phenomonal and deserved a WAY higher score. CANT WAIT TILL THE SECOND ONE!!!!! im gonna be first in line, see all of yu online ;)

they are going to switch off between Resistance and R&C, making a new Resistance one year and a new R&C the next and so on and so forth.

Resistance was probably the greatest game i played on my PS3, the game kept be busy for months. I'd pick up the sequel on day 1.

Sony should like master cloning technology and clone the entire Insominac Studios staff so that there can be more games from them. Wouldnt have to wait so long for future installments of Ratchet and Clank and Resistance.
