it was just a tech demo. actually, it was really just an internal demo that they did in a few months. the higher ups thought it was great and they decided to show it publically.

Completely agree. It drove me nuts. If anyone is wanting to play this game look at this clip of gameplay for Heavenly Sword and you will be even more impressed. The characters are like they're taken out of a great fantasy movie.

i thought this was multiplat considering indigo prophecy was multiplat too..

btw i loved indigo prophecy, it was a mix of 24 and jailbreak. amazing game.

For the rest who don't know, this game is created by the creators of indigo prophecy. indigo prophecy is probably in my top 3 fav games of all time, which is the reason why many others are excited about this game. this game was rumored to be a sequel to indigo prophecy but david cage said that is not the case. BUT it will be similar to indigo prophecy.

David Cage was a gamer as a kid growing up and his goal is create almost perfect games, he spent years making indigo prophecy and will probably spend more or just as much time on this game. He makes cinematic games meaning you feel like you are watching a movie while you play.

David Cage also stated last year he is planning on having the game released on all the major platforms. ok..... just because you said that, it makes heavy rain an exclusive to ps3? I think the developer decides that, which is why David Cage SAID he will be bring the game to all the platforms.

I can understand if the game has been developed more, and Sony got an exclusive deal or Cage changed his mind and it was officially announced, but nothing has changed since this video came out a year ago. Why do you even bother wasting peoples time by posting lies.

Yeah her teeth and her mouth look freaky plus her voice doesn't make that any better, but it's some great animations.

You know why it got crazy at the end? Because it was supposed to be 2 sequels to the game to make it a 3 part game. If you played it, you would notice how it starts off slow and follows small details but at the end everything is happening fast like the main charecters g/f dying and then him hookin up w/ carla right away and then tyler leaving for no reason etc. Atari cut the project and cut the time they could spend on the game, they were forced to only make one game. and david cage had to cram his 3 game script into one.

It was a tech demo about some crazy **** wanting to get vengence on her husband.....to be honest, when it first started out, it was like the beginning of a porno. blitzinger123

I love it when people make assumptions about a game that we know absolutely nothing about and have seen nothing but a tech demo that took 3 months to do. some people are really pathetic around here.

here goes a link to SCEE's press release. now while it does not state Heavy Rain, notice the end where the President and CEO of Quantic Dream, David Cage says:

We always believed that "next generation" meant more meaningful content based on players' emotional involvement. To us, PS3 is the only platform that can truly deliver on this promise, and SCE WWS is a group that is both inspiring and pleasant to work with.

now, if he specifically states that the PS3 is the only platform where they can truly deliver the promise of content based on player's emotional involvement, and the tech demo was filled with emotions, you could draw a conclusion that Heavy Rain is the game that's in question.

but that's just my opinion. I just don't see how the CEO could make that statement about emotional involvement, then release a game that is based on emotional involvement on multiple platforms.
