The Type of Gamer Who Likes Oblivion?

Okay, so i really need a new game in march. I need a game that will take a good ammount of time and have beautiful visuals....because i need to show my family what the ps3 is capable of. Well anyways, the ps3 is not gonna get any good games after march untill Summer...so i was thinking oblivion.

Now, i have never played an RPG before. I have played FFX but halfway through i stopped because the whole fighting system pissed me off. I am a HUGE fan of story. I love stories. That is why my fav game is MGS. All i mostly play are shooting games, so i thought oblivion would be good to get me out of that.

Tell me what you think i should do and what games you are getting in march.

It's not an RPG in the traditional sense.  Heck, I think it more fitting to consider an action adventure more than an RPG.  It's kind of like Medieval GTA.emitsu97

:lol: Where did this Western/Japanese thing originate?  It's always been Action Adventure or RPG.  Oblivion gameplay is comparable to Zelda which is an Action Adventure.emitsu97

I understand what you're saying, but it's sort of misleading. This game isn't like Zelda at all, just bears some superficial similarities.
