**The Unofficial I got NHL 09 Thead**

Post here if you have purchased a copy of NHL 09 (on PS3) and your online ID so that you may add other NHL 09 players and vice versa. I just picked up my copy today. Very pleased with it so far. I like more aggressive defense, authentic goal horns (for some teams), better introductions, etc. Not to mention, for once an EA game has a decent sound track, Bullet for my Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Panic! At the Disco, Protest the Hero, etc. (my opinion). Plus you can save replays/pictures. Be a pro mode is awesome. Very highly recommended for any hockey fan.

Players are not on their correct teams in the screenshots because I created my own team of superstars. :P Cause, the real Leafs are terrible, unfortunately. My PSN is Someguy, feel free to add me. :)

Pittsburgh is authentic. I'm not sure about Coloardos. And thanks, my TV apprciates the compliment. :P

I picked it up this morning, and it's AWESOME! The Sharks' goal horn is correct, but it's supposed to be blasted 3 times but that's okay lol.CJL182

I thought the sharks was only 2 times. Anyway, that's another authentic one at least. The Rangers, Red Wings, and the Canadiens are not authentic. That's what I've noticed so far. Although, some are pretty close. Do they actually come out of the Shark's mouth like in real life?

I had to get it for 360 because that's what all my Hockey friends have :( I'll probably pick up the PS3 copy too when I feel like blowing money. Love the game. So glad you can change your view in Be A Pro Mode...the demo had me worried.

Will be awhile before 1080p is the standard resolution for games. Still, in my pictures on the first page, you can see the game still looks fanstatic in 720p if displayed on a 1080p screen.

Now if they brought back any of thoses, I would be playing them in a heart beat :lol:

i already made my player in madden close to perfect lmao - he had like 6 incomplete passes through out the season :P, now its time for hockey ;)

Thats mainly because i havent beaten mgs4 yet, remember the ps3 incident, i came so close into beating the game i havent finished it though lol :P, anyways now im on act 3 almost towards 4. so i know im pretty close i think, & once im done with this ima be selling mgs4. man thought that first boss though is annoying as **** :P laughing hysterically all the time. remember each time i face her to mute my tv, no wonder why so many people want to sell the game :lol:

Yep, Leafs management is absolutely good awful and sad. Seeing Luongo and Phaneuf in a Leafs jersey would be a dream come true. :) Everytime I pick up an NHL game, I love just creating my fantasy team and then going for the cup. My team is pretty much unbeatable. My roster:
