Although they do mention that their scoring for games is not an average of the 5 criterias, the score of 7.0 seems a little low. Reading from what they had to say about the game as a whole, they seemed to have enjoyed the game. I think that a score of 8.0 would be more reasonable seeing from the things they said. I think the biggest gripe reviewers have with the game is that it's way too short and that's understandable but a 7.0 does seem a little harsh. Well, I guess it doesn't matter because I know a ton of people are still gonna buy it anyway :D.

I knew this game would stink! I never had any thought of getting this. ALl that hype and the game gets a flat even 7.0/10.0 score. LMAO!

Yeah and level design as well. Like I said in SW, the Lasting Appeal part is really more Sony's fault. Ninja Theory wanted to support the Home Trophy System but since Home isn't released yet, there really isn't much they can do.

Still definitely getting this game. The concerns brought up in the review aren't things that bother me.

This game got rated low because of what was rated 7 and 5. Gameplay and Lasting appeal should be the most important factors in a game. Who cares if the graphics get a 9 and the sound get a 9 if the game has a repetitive battle system. I played the demo and loved it the first two times, but going through it a third time I thought it was boring and the combat system had no depth, aerial combos get old after a while and it turns into a button masher, you do not need to know the different combos to destroy your enemies. I will not be getting this game until the price comes down or I will rent it. It is definitely not worth 60 bucks. luigismansion101

Gameplay got a 7, which to me is good. Nothing to complain about. Every time someone posts a bad review about a game people spout **** like they are biased blah blah blah. Get over it.

They didn't drop it .8 for no reason, they say it isn't an average because they feel that some things are more important than others. gamespot did the same thing with their old review system, some things added more to the value than others. Graphics aren't as important in a game as gameplay is so having bad gameplay would hurt the rating more than good graphics help it.

I've never really rented games, mainly because the fact that the clostest place I could rent them is like 30 minutes a way, but maybe I will.

yeah i dont get it Gears of War is Way repetitive yet they seem all then happy to dubbed that game of all time...once i beat it i was done with it. The online play was alight but now i cant bear to look at it, and another thing Gears of War is only 5-6 hours top so whatz up wit that. Im still getting it. People who let scores change thier mind arent very bright. I mean if you were going to get the game and you like how it looks and plays why change your mind cause of a score.

I would presume so. After all, when they demo'd Home, Many of the games you listed had trophies already being showcased there.

Anyway, I never had much faith in this game, looks pretty, but the demo wasn't that fun, and I'm sure the rest of the gameis just mildly entertaining.

For me, any game that is short and repetitive deserves a low score. Also, it seems this game only focused on graphics........and that's it. It seems like they didn't care about the story, game length, or anything else.

They actually said in the review that the gameplay was very good (if you read the review), he's talking about replayability. A six hour long game doesnt have much replay value, even though its fun while it lasted.

This game was too hyped up. Play the demo, if you like it buy it. I didn't like it, I'm not going to buy it. Just because someone loves the game doesnt mean you will and just because someone hates it doesn't mean you will. Make decisions for yourself. If you still aren't sure after the demo, rent it. I hate short games like this so I may rent it but I will probably wait for a price drop instead. luigismansion101

Why are people acting like 7 is such a bad score? It's not, it's average. Though besides this review all others have been pretty stellar.

I'll wait for GS review before I make my final decision on buying it.

Well, it seems like that game ended up being a nice looking game with bad gameplay. Boring shooting stuff, poor pacing, bad puzzles and repetitive arena battles with only a couple of different enemies throughout the game. It's too bad, because this game could have been awesome. Shows that gameplay always comes first.

On the other hand, 7.0 is a very low score...

I'll guess either 7.5 or 8.0 for GS.
