The Vita- is it worth spending money on?

Its been like half a year or whatever since the Vita came out and games. Is it even worth spending 200 bucks on? There's hardly alot of games for it. Just stuff like Ninja Gaiden and a portable version of the new Mortal Kombat game and that Uncharted Golden something.

Im a PC Gamer that doesn't own a Console, the PSV is perfect for me, I can play PS1 Games, PsP Games, PSV Games, PSN Games, and SOME PS3 Cross Play Games. I miss out on some Console only games since I game on a PC, however the Vita does get some games I otherwise wouldn't have been able to get on my PC. It was the first handheld iv bought since the GameBoy Advance, and it probably is the best handheld I have ever played before. However that is because in MY Situation I see the value in it, that may be different in your eyes. Research products for yourself, don't ask a question no one can answer but yourself...

As much as I want everyone to get a Vita, I don't know if you deserve one yet OP. It is that awesome. On a serious note, look up all the games. If you can find 5 that you want to play that are out now, then it is worth it. It is portable gaming at the absolute pinnacle IMO.

Little Big Planet was the system seller for me, also picked up Resistance, Madden, and New LKS. Going to pick up Black Ops, Persona 4, and Assassins Creed: Liberation. That's far more than enough to keep me enteratined on the go!

This is why I am still sticking with the PSP. PSP has a bigger game library such as regular UMD games and the UMD movie discs that you can still get at gamestop.

Name just one good game for the Vita. Seriously. Sony rushed it by releasing portable versions for Marve vs Capcom 1, 2 and 3, then the new Mortal Kombat game and a silly Vita Uncharted game and thats about it for games for the Vita.

i love my vita, and no sister ****er is gonna change that.

I enjoy my VITA quite a bit. It's the finest handheld gaming system ever made - hands down. There are a bunch of games on the market for it right now that I'd like to get, but money is the issue. I'm not sure if it's found any sort of killer-app yet... Maybe LBPV? I heard good things about it before and after release, so it must be decent.

Truth be told I've spent most of my time with it playing PSOne games, but the one cart game I have wasn't bad, and the downloadable game I have is also pretty cool. I think one thing I've learned in retrospect, since I bought the VITA, is that you really can't own one without first plopping down more money for a good game and a good memory card. A so-so game will only hold your interest for so long, as will smaller downloadable games even if they are pretty original or fun. You want to make sure you're getting a game with lots of replayability or a lot of playtime when you get your VITA. That's my cent.
