You can already do that. After starting a download, click "perform in background". It will download during PS3gameplay unless you're playing online. It will pause the download during online gameplay. It will also pause while playing PS2 and PS games.

EDIT: Also, I'm waiting for the ability to access the XMB during gameplay and for a music visualization that involves a dancing monkey. That would p0wn all.

I wouldn't mind some kind of screenshot function for in-game snaps.

HDD music soundtrack is an upcoming must, in-game XMB access too.

Better Ipod connectivity?

The recent 'Media Server' function was amazing.

Video/music file streaming in video chatrooms (just like the current 'Display Image' during videochat)

I want the following:

• To be able to categorise my friends list into what games they play. This way I can find my clan mates fast.
• To be able to launch a PS3 chat room from the XMB where all PS3 users can talk about news and upcoming games.
• Four more USB ports. Seriously, between my two controllers, my wired headset, my USB keyboard I have no room for my external HDD with all my porn. JK.

psn profiles that tell youre friends what games you have been playing and for how long. all the rewards you have gotten in the games and more stuff like that with the whole psn account and friends list. and of course play youre own music in games

but what i want most of all is for sony to bring more updates out! so we can get new features FAST!!!

I totally agree. That's why I waited until the middle of '07 to buy my PS3. Why wait when you can drool over the console and then buy it, enjoy it for a few months while waiting for games and then get the games everyone else has been waiting for since launch.
