Sooo.... what do you really really want the PSP2 to have? It doesn't have to be realistic, might be even something you dreamt of :P

Here's what I want:

- Higher resolution screen (HD 720p would be brilliant).

- UMD2 (higer capacity UMD which holds the same amount of data as a DVD).

- 2 anolog sticks.

- Built-in memory 20GB (can be expanded using a memory card).

- Longer lasting battery (lasts upto 10 hours).

- A proper web browser which supports all websites (including YouTube).

- Radio which picks up local radio stations

- Supports more picture, audio and video formats.

- The PSP2 has to be even more slimer and lighter :P

Can't think of anything else right now....

OK half of those things cant be done while be lighter and thinner. I would like two analog sticks but Sony would have to make it taller by 2cm to push the face butons out of the way. Also I would like the psp2 to have all of the same attachments it should come with(romote control and a case)

Well two analog sticks would be nice. But like he said they would have to make it taller, and plus not many games on the Playstation use two analog sticks for many things anyways.

How 'bout some decent game support? Aside from a few decent titles, the system doesn't really have much. And shorter load times, as in less then 15 seconds. Not 15 minutes.

FPS will also be great to play. Use the left stick to move around, and the right stick to look around... just like the games on consoles.

I agree with everything kashim posted, except I could do without the radio. An internal harddrive doesn't seem very appealing either, as it will run down the battery quicker (unless flash memory was used). 16gb and 32gb memory sticks will be big enough for most people I'd imagine.

As for the post above, the PSP already has great game support. I can already count over 120 games worth owning on the system (I own 106 of them) which is amazing compared to other systems I've played in the past. If a PSP2 continued to get the same support the PSP has had, I'd be thrilled.

Another thing I'd like to see: An attachable keyboard to surf those websites would be nice.

I have only just got a psp, so im not even thinking of a new one yet. But a feature i would like to see is being able to listen to your own music (that you have put onto your memory stick) while playing games.

I wouldn't mind if the PSP2 looked something like this :P

Also, more game variety. Great hardware is nice, but having a better game library should always be top priority.

Wishlist:
-A TRUE analog stick... or at least something that's better than what we have now.
-Maybe a slight increase in resolution (720p seems like massive overkill for a screen its size)
-Built-in Mic.

Wishful thinking:
-Full color, video capable electronic paper display (they consume less power and are usable in broad daylight). Umm, the problem is that this technology is being developed, so probably won't be available in time for a "PSP2".
-Nanowire battery (could offer around 10 times more battery life vs a conventional Lithium Ion of the same size). Same problem though as above.

Look closer. There are buttons labeled "L1" and "L2" on the side. Anyways, while looking rather slick, it doesn't seem like it would be very comfortable to hold.

It looks pretty much like a game boy advance SP with analog sticks 2 more buttons, and a huge screen. It would be comfortable enuff, but i dont think id wanna play for more than an hour or 2 at a time.

Was wondering what the side buttons was for. Yeah it doesn't look too confortable.

Another suggestion. Make the screen less reflective, I don't like looking at my face while playing games, esp. in sunny weather.

Two examples I don't want.

First one is an obvious copy of the DS and I don't like the touchscreen.

Second one would have been fine only if the anolog sticks were below the buttons.

720p is considered to be OTT. Saying PSP2 should have 1080p is like saying a scooter should have a 10 litre engine.

Yeah, but the size of the screen could make this thing quite top heavy. Plus plus the position of the triggers seems rather unatural IMO.

Aie. You would probably need to have your nose right up next to it to even be able to take advantage of such a high resolution on a relatively small screen.

- Rumble support (vibrating PSP2). That would make the PSP2 heavier, but is it worth it?

- Solar panel at the back of the PSP2 to recharge battery.

I don't think a small rumble motor (like the ones they put in some cell phones) would add a noticable amount of weight. It would certainly be detrimental to battery life though.

I'd like to see another Analog Stick (duh) and maybe a more GBA SP look, I love the wide screen but I also love folding screens too. Also, I'd like to see a little add-on that puts a DVD/CD drive on it so that you can play PS2 and PS1 games on it.

2 "real" analog sticks. (I hate the stupid nub)

More comfortable design

Vibration

Faster internet browser

4 trigger buttons

5 1/2 inch widescreen

built in memory

Backwards compatability ( A MUST!!!)

Better remote play with PS3

Honestly think the PSP would be best suited with at least 32 GB of internal memory and an OLED screen. That would be so nice...

in no order 1. Next Gen UMD such as higher capacity and disk speed 2. Backwards Compatible 3. Better Audio quality( The PSP sounds like a btch) by increasing the volume and bass 4. More codec support 5. Better internet 6. Second along stick and while we're at it L2 R2 7. Better and Improved Remote Play features

im going to be as realistic as possible

i would like 720p, but with the current technology, i could expect 480p

another analog stick would be nice, along with a better grip

Mini-BD would make it WAY better, but thats not coming for another couple years, so i would like Mini-DV, because that would not require the use of a case and then it could be thinner because of that :P

i would like the inclusion of a HDD, possibly 10 or 20, or maybe even 40 GB

touch screen would be KICK ASS

possibly something like the PSP Go, where its thin, with the slide down controls

more possibilities for memory, like Memory Stick, SD, and xD cards

other than that: I WANT A PSP HD!!!!

the PSP HD would be EVEN better than the PSP 2, coming out i would expect 2020

it would use Mini-BD

it would have 100 and 200GB HDD

it would be compatible with 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p, and a possible 2160p!!!
